What Is For England in 007 First Light
For England is the final chapter of the campaign. Bond and Isola have been brought back to MI6 after the events in Antarctica. When the building goes into lockdown and the cells open, Isola escapes while Bond stays to fight. The mission is a mostly linear push through MI6 headquarters to reach THEIA’s chamber and defeat Damien Webb in a three-stage boss fight. It is the only mission in the game where Bond operates without gadgets at the start.
Completing all 16 challenges in For England unlocks the Track Suit outfit for use in TacSim. It is also the final step toward the Agent Outfit, which requires finishing every main story challenge across all missions combined with all 15 Global challenges.

For England Challenge List — All 16 Challenges
1. Ghost (Null Space)
The very first section of For England is called Null Space. Bond does not have a Q-Lens or Q-Watch at this point, so this is old-school stealth. Ghost requires you to pass through the Null Space area without being detected by any enemy. Stick to the left path throughout. Wait for each enemy to move before advancing. The path is relatively straightforward — patience is the only tool you need here. Get to the exit door before anyone spots you and the challenge completes.
2. Pacifist (Null Space)
Pacifist requires passing through the Null Space section without knocking out or killing any enemy. This pairs naturally with Ghost since both require you to avoid direct contact. Use the same left-path approach, time your movements around enemy patrols, and reach the exit door cleanly. Doing both Ghost and Pacifist in the same run is entirely possible if you are patient.
3. Assault (Null Space)
Assault is the opposite of Pacifist — it requires taking out every enemy in the Null Space section. You will need to replay this section separately from your Ghost or Pacifist run. Turn the valves in the first room to fill the area with smoke, which gives you cover to approach and eliminate each enemy without being seen clearly. With the whole room clouded, you can engage enemies without them seeing you from a distance. Use the Rush mechanic to take down enemies near the environment for clean takedowns.
4. Smoke and Mirrors (Central Office)
When Bond drops into the central office area, a heavy wave of enemies is waiting. Smoke and Mirrors requires using the smoke mechanic from the ceiling canopy to handle enemies in this section. Climb the yellow ladder in the server room to reach the wire canopy above the office. From up there, turn the valves to flood the room with smoke. You can also drop the hanging lights onto soldiers below for environmental takedowns. With the whole room clouded, enemies cannot see you from range, making the challenge much more manageable.
5. Apex Predator (Central Office)
Apex Predator requires taking out all enemies in the central office section. It works hand-in-hand with Smoke and Mirrors — once the room is full of smoke from the canopy, every enemy is isolated and visible through your Q-Lens. Work your way through them one by one. Because both challenges share the same setup, running them together in a single pass is the cleanest approach. Clear every enemy before dropping down to progress.
6. Untouchable (Sniper Section)
After the central office, two snipers appear at range while remaining enemies are still active in the room. Untouchable requires defeating both snipers without taking any damage — not just from the snipers themselves, but from any enemy in the area during the entire encounter. Use stealth to avoid alerting the remaining ground-level enemies first. Then use Focus Mode to line up precise shots on each sniper before any enemy reacts to you. For the sniper on the right, shooting the valve on the red pipe beneath him is a reliable kill that takes less time than a direct shot. The sniper on the left can be handled directly using Focus. Take your time — rushing this section is the fastest way to fail Untouchable.
7. Ghost (Central Office and Sniper Section)
A separate Ghost challenge covers the central office and sniper section combined. This requires passing through both areas without being detected at any point. Since this conflicts directly with Assault and Apex Predator (which require taking out enemies), you will need a separate run for this one. Use the smoke from the canopy to stay hidden, avoid all direct engagement, and reach the far side of the sniper section without triggering any detection.
8. Pacifist (Central Office and Sniper Section)
Pacifist for this section requires passing through the central office and sniper encounter without killing or knocking out anyone. This is cleanest when paired with Ghost — move through the smoke using the ceiling canopy route and avoid all direct contact. For the snipers, skip both and head directly into the vent in the room beneath the left sniper to continue. Neither needs to be taken out for story progression.
9. Be Q-uiet (Q-Lab)
When Bond reaches the Q-Lab, the objective is to find the Valhalla keys, override the lockdown, and leave through the garage. Be Q-uiet requires doing all of this without being spotted. The Q-Lab is packed with enemies, but the upgraded Q-Watch makes this manageable. Hack the turrets around the room to neutralise threats without direct combat. Use Smoke Pods liberally for cover when moving between objectives. Head to the Wearable section first, flip the switch, and take the key from the last coat on the right. Then interact with the central podium to start the lockdown override — stay near the laptop until the process completes. Keep hacking and using smoke to stay hidden on the way out through the garage.
10. Ghost (Q-Lab)
A Ghost challenge specifically covers the Q-Lab section. It requires navigating the entire Q-Lab — getting the Valhalla keys, aborting the lockdown, and leaving — without being detected. This aligns closely with Be Q-uiet and can be completed in the same run if you are methodical. Lean on the Q-Watch hacks and Smoke Pods throughout. The turrets are your best friend here — hacking them removes threats silently before they ever see you.
11. Assault (Q-Lab)
Assault for the Q-Lab section requires eliminating every enemy in the room before leaving through the garage. This conflicts with Ghost and Be Q-uiet, so plan a separate run. Hack the turrets first to turn them against enemies, then clean up the remaining hostiles using weapons and environmental hazards. The upgraded Q-Watch lets you control the room quickly once you engage. Be thorough — missing even one enemy will likely fail the challenge.
12. Demolition Derby (Valhalla)
After leaving the Q-Lab, Bond takes control of the Valhalla — the prototype vehicle. Demolition Derby requires clearing all enemies in the Valhalla section using the vehicle’s weapons. Open with the machine guns and switch to missiles once enemies group together. You cannot aim the weapons independently — rotate the whole car to line up shots. Target explosive cans and environmental objects for area damage that hits multiple enemies at once. Keep moving and stay aggressive. The challenge completes once the area is fully cleared and the short cutscene plays.
13. Pacifist (Valhalla)
There is a separate Pacifist challenge for the Valhalla section — but it does not mean avoiding combat entirely in the vehicle. It requires not killing any unarmoured or non-hostile targets during the vehicle section. Focus fire on the active armed enemies only and avoid hitting any environmental elements that could cause collateral damage to non-combat targets. This is less restrictive than the earlier Pacifist challenges but still requires care with your aim.
14. Something to Prove (Damien Boss Fight — Phase 1)
The Damien boss fight has three stages. In Phase 1, Damien runs a jammer that blocks your gadgets. You cannot beat him in melee at this stage. The fight is more of a chase — keep close enough to him for the hack to advance while avoiding his strikes. Something to Prove requires completing Phase 1 without taking any damage from Damien. Keep your distance from his melee hits, dodge when he swings, and stay close enough for the hack to register. Do not let the gap get too large or the hack resets.
15. Cressida’s Way (Damien Boss Fight — Phase 2)
Phase 2 of the Damien fight uses the turrets. Bond needs to override two turrets in the room and use them against Damien. Aim at Damien with your gun and fire — the turret mirrors your aim. Cressida’s Way requires using both turrets in sequence to deplete Damien’s health. Follow the objective markers to each override point and use the turrets in the correct order. On the way to the markers, interact with switches to raise boxes or turn valves for smokescreen cover to protect yourself while crossing the room.
16. Completionist (For England)
The Completionist challenge unlocks automatically once all other 15 challenges in For England are completed. It does not require any additional action beyond finishing the rest of the list. Completing this challenge is what triggers the Track Suit reward.
Tips for Completing All Challenges in For England
- The Null Space section has no gadgets available — Ghost, Pacifist, and Assault here are purely about patience and movement timing.
- Smoke and Mirrors and Apex Predator are best done together. Get to the ceiling canopy, flood the room, then clear every enemy.
- Untouchable is the hardest single challenge in this mission. Use Focus for the snipers and handle ground enemies with stealth before lining up your shots.
- Ghost and Assault are mutually exclusive in each section. Plan separate runs or use mission replay to replay specific checkpoints without redoing the full chapter.
- Be Q-uiet and Ghost (Q-Lab) can be done in the same run with careful Q-Watch use and Smoke Pods.
- The upgraded Q-Watch is active from the gadget cart in the Q-Lab — set your loadout there before pushing further into the section.
For help replaying specific checkpoints, see the 007 First Light how to replay missions guide. For the best gadget setup to bring into the Q-Lab section specifically, the 007 First Light best gadget loadout guide covers the strongest combinations.
