Margaret falls somewhere in the middle—she’s easy to miss, tricky to woo, and brings more drama than most. If you’re curious about how to romance Margaret and complete the Victimised quest, here’s everything you need to know.
🎯 Step 1: Meet Margaret During Damsel in Distress
Margaret doesn’t just appear—you have to stumble across her during the Damsel in Distress task.
Where to Go:
- Head to the mill between Bylany and Old Lhota.
- This task won’t trigger at night or if you’re there during the Fifth Commandment quest.
Listen for a woman yelling from a shed. Pick the lock, talk to her, and she’ll ask you to look for the miller. Say yes, then check the nearby woodshed.
➡️ When you return, she’ll be gone, and you’ll face the miller and a guard. The outcome doesn’t affect the romance—just avoid trouble.
🧭 Step 2: Begin Victimised and Meet Margaret Again
After Damsel in Distress, head to the inn south of Pschitoky on the road to Kuttenberg. Margaret will be outside begging—reunite with her to kick off the Victimised quest.
She wants revenge on a Kuttenberg merchant named Latsek and asks for your help. To prepare, you’ll need:
- A Lullaby Potion
- A fancy dress for Margaret
- A wealthy-looking outfit for Henry
🧪 Step 3: Get the Lullaby Potion
You’ve got a few options:
- Craft it yourself (you’ll need Poppy, Thistle, and Herb Paris)
- Buy the recipe from Herbwoman Vlasta in Miskowitz
- Buy the potion directly from Vlasta or the Apothecary in Pschitoky
👗 Step 4: Dress to Impress
For Margaret:
- She won’t accept cheap clothing.
- Best bet: buy a Noblewoman’s Cotehardie from a tailor in Kuttenberg.
For Henry:
- You’ll also need to look like a high-end merchant.
- Buy or wear your best outfit.
- Wash your clothes and use perfume to boost Charisma.
🕵️ Step 5: Complete the Victimised Plan
Once you’ve got everything, return to Margaret at the inn. She’ll ask you to meet her that evening in Kuttenberg.
Here’s how it plays out:
- Sneak Lullaby Potion into Latsek’s drink at the tavern.
- After he passes out, carry him to Margaret.
- In the morning, walk with her to Latsek’s shop and back her up.
- Important: Stay silent during the exchange to romance Margaret.
- If you speak up and question Latsek, you’ll miss the romance route but uncover more of the truth.

After robbing Latsek, Margaret and Henry share a moment in the hayloft.
