Whether you’re looking for a fresh start, an early retirement, or just curious about what happens when your Zoi skips work too much, ending a job in InZOI is super straightforward.

🔥 How to Get Fired in InZOI
Want your Zoi to get the boot? The quickest way is by racking up three unexcused absences in a row.
- Skip work three times without calling in or taking a day off.
- After the third missed shift, your Zoi will get a termination text on their phone, letting them know they’ve been fired due to absence.
💡 Tip: Getting fired can come with downsides like reputation loss or mood debuffs, depending on your Zoi’s personality and traits.
📤 How to Resign From Your Job in InZOI
If you’d rather quit on your own terms, here’s how to resign:
- Open your Zoi’s phone.
- Tap the Career App (purple icon with a magnifying glass).
- Go to the My Career tab.
- Hit the resign icon (briefcase or calendar with an X on it, top-left of your job card).
- Confirm the resignation when prompted.
Your Zoi will get a message confirming they’ve stepped away from the role. After that, they’re free to chill or start something new.
👴 How to Retire in InZOI
Retirement in InZOI happens automatically based on your Zoi’s life stage and the career they’re in.
- For most careers, retirement happens once your Zoi becomes a Senior.
- For Idol Trainees, retirement hits early—when they reach Adulthood.
Once your Zoi ages out of their job, you’ll get a notification, and they’ll retire gracefully (no need to manually resign).
