How To Stop Aging in InZoi

Learn how to stop or slow down aging in inZOI using the built-in Simulation settings. Keep your Zois young, manage world aging, and take full control of their life progression.
Aging has been one of those ongoing annoyances in inZOI, with lots of players feeling like their Zois are growing up way too fast.
Since aging can lock you out of certain careers or activities, it’s been kind of a big deal—especially during the game’s early access phase.
Some players even missed out on opportunities just because their Zoi aged up too quickly, with no way to rewind time.
Thankfully, that’s no longer the case. inZOI recently dropped a handy new setting that lets you completely turn off aging. With just a simple toggle, you can now decide exactly when your Zois start aging. It’s super easy to do—though the setting itself is kind of hidden among a bunch of other options.

How To Stop Aging In inZOI

To put the brakes on aging, all you have to do is pause the game and head into the Options menu. From there, hop over to the “Simulation” tab on the left. This tab covers a bunch of stuff like how long days last and how Zois behave in the world.
Scroll down until you see “Aging (My Zois).” Just switch it from “Enable” to “Disable.” That’s it. Your Zoi will stop aging instantly. Want them to age again later? Just flip it back on when you’re ready.
Even though inZOI can get pretty deep with features like karma and cleanliness, stopping aging is refreshingly simple.
How To Stop Other Zois From Aging

You’re not limited to just your own Zoi either. inZOI also gives you the option to stop all Zois in the world from aging.
Go back to the Options menu and open the Simulation tab again. Just below the setting for your own Zoi’s aging, you’ll find a second option for toggling aging for all Zois in the world.
By default, it’s set to “Enabled,” so background Zois will continue aging on the normal timeline. But if you change it to “Disabled,” they’ll stop aging too.
This is super helpful if your Zoi has a love interest and you don’t want them to get too old before you seal the deal. Romance moves pretty quickly in inZOI, but a mismatch in aging can throw a wrench in your plans.
Just a heads-up: turning this off could cause some interesting population changes. Since Zois won’t die of old age, they might end up having a bunch of kids. But because those kids won’t age either, you could end up with either a packed or frozen population. So yeah, use it wisely.
How To Slow Aging In inZOI
Not everyone wants to totally stop the clock. Some players might just want to slow things down a bit to get more time with their Zois before they move on to the next life stage.
To do that, head to the Options menu again, and go back into the Simulation tab. This time, look for the “Length of Day” option. By default, an in-game day takes 96 minutes in real time. But you can stretch it out to 4 hours or even 24 hours if you want more breathing room.
Choosing 4 hours means it’ll take four real hours for a full in-game day to pass. Going with 24 hours turns it into a real-time simulation. Either way, your Zoi gets more time in each day to do their thing before aging kicks in.
