The University Professor career in InZOI is a non-active or “rabbit-hole” career, meaning your Zoi automatically heads off to work during their scheduled hours, and you won’t be controlling them while they’re on the job.
Unlike active jobs like Idol Trainee, you won’t get to see your Zoi teaching or interacting in a classroom—so if you’re someone who prefers a more hands-off approach, this career might be right up your alley.
With a super relaxed schedule of just three workdays a week and pretty short hours, this is a great option for players who want their Zoi to have a meaningful job without it taking over the whole gameplay experience.

How To Join the University Professor Career
Getting started is easy. There are no prerequisites—no required skills or even a university degree. As long as your Zoi is between Young Adult and Middle Aged, they’re eligible to apply.
Here’s how to do it:
- Open your Zoi’s smartphone.
- Tap on the Career section.
- Choose between Bliss Bay University (if you’re in Bliss Bay) or University of Youngsung (if you’re in Dowon).
- If the job’s available, just click to apply. You’ll get a phone notification confirming the job.
⚠️ Important Note: If your Zoi switches to another career or enrolls in university as a student, they’ll immediately resign from the professor role, and any progress will be reset.
University Professor Schedule & Tasks
As a rabbit-hole career, your Zoi won’t actually walk into a university building. When it’s time for work, they’ll hop in a taxi or car and disappear for a few hours. There’s not much to do while they’re away, but you’ll still see small roleplay options for immersion—like organizing lectures or checking assignments.
These tasks don’t affect progress, but they’re a fun touch if you want to lean into the vibe.
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Career Levels & Pay
The career has three ranks, each with a nice bump in daily salary:

Even at mid-tier, you’ll be pulling in solid Meow with minimal effort.
How to Get Promoted
Unlike active careers where you complete tasks for faster promotions, rabbit-hole jobs just rely on showing up consistently. Every time your Zoi goes to work, their career progress bar fills a little bit more.
Tips for Promotion:
- Always go to work on time—missing a day or leaving early slows progress down.
- Don’t shorten work hours or interrupt their schedule.
- Since it’s only 3 days a week, promotions can take up to 4 in-game weeks.
There are no known boosts from traits, moodlets, or even previous education right now. It’s all about showing up and being consistent.
Once the progress bar is full (and there’s room for promotion in your save), your Zoi will be automatically promoted to the next rank.
The University Professor career is perfect if you:
- Want your Zoi in a legit career but don’t want to micro-manage them
- Prefer spending your gameplay time on building, family life, or hobbies
- Still want to earn solid daily income without much stress
It’s calm, low-maintenance, and pays off big in the long run.
