To make it out alive in Days Gone Remastered, you’ll need more than just grit—you’ll need materials. Some resources can be sold for Credits to upgrade Deacon’s bike or weapon stash, but others are strictly for crafting. You’ll be whipping up everything from healing items and stat-boosting cocktails to explosives, bolts, and brutal melee weapons.
Not all recipes are available right from the start, though. Most unlock as you progress through the game’s different storylines. This guide breaks down how to unlock every crafting recipe in Days Gone Remastered, so you can prioritize the right missions and stay ahead of the Freaker horde.
How Crafting Works in Days Gone
As you unlock recipes, they get added to the Survival Wheel. This wheel has eight categories, and some of them will house your newly acquired blueprints. To craft something, open the Survival Wheel, pick a category, select the item, and hit Craft.
Each recipe shows you what materials you need. You’ll see the required amount on the left and what you’ve got in your inventory on the right. If you’re short on something, it’ll be highlighted in red.
