Ubisoft Teases More Games for Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft may be bringing Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Rainbow Six Siege X to Nintendo Switch 2, joining Star Wars Outlaws which is confirmed for a September release.
It looks like Ubisoft could be lining up even more games for the Nintendo Switch 2, based on some recent hints from its Brazilian team. While Ubisoft won’t be part of the Switch 2’s June 5 launch lineup, the publisher has already confirmed Star Wars Outlaws will arrive on the console a few months later, dropping September 4.
Now, it appears that two more big-name titles—Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Rainbow Six Siege—might be heading to Nintendo’s next-gen hybrid console as well.
The rumor mill started spinning after a post from Ubisoft Brazil caught the attention of fans and insiders like Stealth40k, and was later reported by Nintendo Life. The post asked fans which Ubisoft games they’d like to see on the Switch 2 and included an image showcasing Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Rainbow Six Siege.

While Outlaws is already confirmed, Assassin’s Creed Shadows was recently leaked via an age rating, making its Switch 2 appearance pretty likely. And while Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced Mirage or Siege for the system, the image is adding serious fuel to the fire.
For context, Assassin’s Creed Mirage launched in 2023 as a return to the franchise’s stealth-action roots, breaking away from the RPG-heavy approach of recent entries like Odyssey and Valhalla. Rainbow Six Siege, on the other hand, has been a major player in the tactical shooter scene since its 2015 debut—and it’s not slowing down anytime soon.
In fact, Rainbow Six Siege is about to get a major overhaul. Starting this June, the game is going free-to-play under the new name Rainbow Six Siege X, featuring upgraded visuals and a brand-new 6v6 mode called Dual Front. That timing lines up perfectly with the Switch 2’s release window, even though a port hasn’t officially been confirmed just yet.
So while nothing’s set in stone, early signs are pointing to Ubisoft ramping up its Switch 2 support in a big way after launch.
