Should You Fight Tisseur in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
Tisseur, fittingly named “The Weaver,” is a non-hostile Nevron boss you’ll find on Sirene’s Island in Expedition 33. When you encounter it, Tisseur is just quietly weaving away, completely absorbed in its work. Like other peaceful Nevrons such as Jar and Hexga, you get the choice: leave it be, or attack.
So… should you fight it?
Yes—Here’s Why Tisseur is Worth Fighting
Despite its peaceful demeanor, it’s highly recommended to take on Tisseur. Defeating this boss rewards you with the Anti-Charm Pictos—a crucial item for surviving the Sirene boss fight. Sirene has a nasty habit of summoning Widow Ballets to Charm your team and will also try to seduce your characters herself.
Getting Charmed means your expeditioners will skip turns or even attack their own teammates—not great. The Anti-Charm Pictos can prevent that chaos entirely.
When the game gives you the prompt:
“The Nevron does not seem hostile. It sews tirelessly, engrossed in its work. Attack anyway?”
Choose Yes if you want to prepare for one of the game’s trickier encounters.

Where to Find Tisseur in Expedition 33
Finding Tisseur takes a bit of navigating through Sirene’s island. Here’s a quick step-by-step:
- Start at the Dancing Classes Rest Point and ride the elevator up.
- In the room with three doors, go through the right door (the others are dead ends with loot and a Petank).
- Pass through the room with floating clothes and cross to the next door.
- After the second elevator ride, go left up the cloth ball to reach Tisseur’s area.
- Optional: Head right instead if you need to rest—there’s a secret bathroom area with a hidden passage behind a mirror, leading to a rest flag.

- Grapple across the gap and pass through the right passage to reach the Sewing Atelier.
- Rest at the point nearby, then head forward. Tisseur is just past the opening.
