LoL Patch 25.10 – Early Mid-Season Update Breakdown
The first big mid-season update of 2025 is here, and while the map overhaul and objective reworks (like Herald and Void Grubs) are stealing the spotlight, patch 25.10 is focused almost entirely on items—especially for AP champs.

- Champ DPS: 20 (+2% AP) ⇒ 25 (+2.5% AP)
- Minion DPS: 20 (+2% AP) ⇒ 15 (+1.5% AP)
Bloodletter’s Curse
- Health: 350 ⇒ 400
- AP: 60 ⇒ 65
- MR Shred (per stack): 5% ⇒ 7.5%
- Max Stacks: 6 ⇒ 4
Cryptbloom
- Cost: 2850 ⇒ 3000
- Recipe: Now includes Fiendish Codex
- Magic Pen: 30% ⇒ 35%
- AP: 60 ⇒ 75
- Base Heal: 100 ⇒ 75
- AP Scaling (heal): 25% ⇒ 10%
Hextech Rocketbelt
- Cost: 2700 ⇒ 2650
- Recipe: Now uses Fiendish Codex + Ruby Crystal (instead of Kindlegem)
- HP: 350 ⇒ 300
- AP: 60 ⇒ 70
- Ability Haste: 15 ⇒ 20
Horizon Focus
- Cost: 2700 ⇒ 2900
- Recipe: Amplifying Tome replaced by Blasting Wand
- AP: 75 ⇒ 110
- Removed: 10% bonus damage to revealed targets
- Activation Range: 750 ⇒ 600
Liandry’s Torment
- AP: 70 ⇒ 60
Lich Bane
- Cost: 2900 ⇒ 3200
- Recipe: Now uses Blasting Wand instead of Needlessly Large Rod
- AP: 115 ⇒ 100
Luden’s Companion
- Cost: 2850 ⇒ 2750
Malignance
- AP: 85 ⇒ 90
Morellonomicon
- Cost: 2950 ⇒ 2850
Nashor’s Tooth
- Cost: 3000 ⇒ 2900
Rabadon’s Deathcap

Seraph’s Embrace
- Removed: Base shield
- Shield Scaling: 20% max mana ⇒ 18% max mana
Stormsurge
- MS Bonus (from passive): Removed
- Flat MS: 4% ⇒ 6%
- Gold on kill (pre-bolt): Removed
🧠 What This Means for AP Players
This patch is clearly shaking up AP itemization:
- Many cost reductions and scaling changes aim to refine power spikes.
- Cryptbloom and Bloodletter’s Curse are getting buffed, making them more viable picks.
- Some utility is being flattened (like Horizon Focus losing its bonus damage).
- Expect Seraph’s Embrace and Liandry’s users to feel a bit more vulnerable.
