Warzone Season 4 Kicks Off May 29 — What to Expect from the Next Big Update

Warzone Season 4

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 launches May 29, 2025, bringing new weapons, map changes, Operator skins, and more. Here’s everything we know so far.

Warzone Season 4 Set to Launch May 29: What’s Coming

Call of Duty: Warzone has been on fire lately, and with Season 3 delivering a wave of content — including the return of Verdansk, Ranked Play, and the Ladra SMG — fans are now locked in on what’s next. That would be Season 4, and it’s officially dropping on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Here’s everything we know (and what we expect) from the upcoming season.

Warzone Season 4 Start Date & Time

According to the in-game Battle Pass timer, Warzone Season 4 is expected to begin on:

🗓️ Thursday, May 29, 2025
🕘 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST

Preloading is likely to be available a few hours early, so you can be ready to dive in the moment it goes live. Like usual, the season will run for roughly eight weeks, with a Reloaded mid-season update arriving halfway through to keep things fresh.

What’s Expected in Season 4

While Activision and Raven haven’t revealed full details just yet, we can count on some familiar content drops — plus a few surprises. Here’s what’s likely on the horizon:

✅ Battle Pass

A new 100-tier Battle Pass packed with:

  • Operator skins
  • Weapon blueprints
  • XP boosts
  • Seasonal cosmetics

🔫 New Weapons

New guns will be added and tied to Battle Pass progression or seasonal challenges. Season 3 brought back the Ladra SMG (a reimagining of BO1’s Spectre), so there’s a chance more classic guns might return.

🎮 New Operator Skins

Expect a few fresh faces or themed Operator bundles, often revealed just ahead of launch or alongside the new trailer.

🗺️ Verdansk Map Changes

With Verdansk officially back, the devs confirmed it’ll keep evolving. In Season 3 Reloaded, we saw the Train Station interior reopened. Next? Fans are speculating that Stadium’s roof might finally open again — though that hasn’t been confirmed.

🎉 Seasonal Events

Expect new limited-time modes (LTMs), challenges, and community events — usually themed around the update’s setting or new Operators.

⚖️ Weapon Tuning

As always, there’ll be a fresh round of buffs and nerfs, especially to popular loadout weapons, to help shake up the meta heading into summer.

Warzone Season 4 looks to carry the momentum from a wildly successful Season 3, and while we’re still waiting for full patch notes and trailers, May 29 is shaping up to be a major drop. With ongoing tweaks to Verdansk, more classic guns likely making a return, and a new Battle Pass grind incoming, there’s plenty to look forward to.
