Palworld Gliders Guide: How to Craft Every Glider

Can’t ride Pals anymore in Palworld? Here’s how to craft every Glider and Parachute to explore faster—plus which one is the best for travel in the game.
With Palworld’s ongoing legal drama with Nintendo and Pokémon, riding Pals is officially off the table. That means if you want to move around quickly—especially when hunting down rare Pals or exploring hard-to-reach places—you’ll need to rely on Gliders and Parachutes.
Here’s how to craft each one, what materials you’ll need, and which glider is worth investing your time and resources into.
🪂 How to Unlock & Craft the Normal Parachute
Before you can craft any Glider, you’ll need to unlock the Normal Parachute in the Technology Menu.
✅ Requirements:
- Unlock Section 5 of the Technology Tree
- Spend 2 Technology Points to learn the recipe
🧾 Normal Parachute Recipe:
- 10 Wood – Collect from fallen logs or chop trees
- 2 Cloth – Dropped by early-game Pals like Lamballs
Once crafted, equip it in your inventory and you’re good to start gliding.

🚀 Best Glider in Palworld: Hyper Glider
If you want top-tier speed and distance, the Hyper Glider is hands-down the best glider in Palworld.
But it comes with a grind:
- Requires high-end materials like Pal Metal Ingots
- Needs a Production Assembly Line II to craft
- Only accessible in the late game
If you’re just starting out, the Mega Glider is a solid mid-tier upgrade with an easy resource list.
🧠 Tips for Gliding Around Palworld:
- Pair your Glider with stamina upgrades to maximize travel range
- Use fast travel when possible for long hauls—save your Glider for vertical exploration or crossing tricky terrain
- Stockpile Cloth and Wood early—they’re used in multiple Glider recipes
With Pal mounts out of the picture, Gliders are now your main mode of travel in Palworld. Whether you’re chasing a Legendary Pal or farming materials across biomes, getting the best Glider is more important than ever.
