Risk of Rain 2 Reveals ‘Alloyed Collective’ DLC With New Stages, Survivors, and More

Gearbox announces Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective, a new DLC featuring fresh stages, enemies, items, and survivors—coming soon to PC and consoles.

Gearbox Software has officially lifted the curtain on Alloyed Collective, a brand-new DLC expansion for Risk of Rain 2, and it’s packed with content that’ll shake things up for both new and veteran players. While there’s no exact release date just yet, the DLC is “coming soon,” and it looks like it’ll be worth the wait.

For those unfamiliar, Risk of Rain 2 is a chaotic third-person roguelike shooter that drops players onto an alien world full of danger and mystery. Whether you’re teaming up with friends or braving it solo, every run is different thanks to randomized elements, ever-evolving enemies, and a growing arsenal of unlockable survivors and gear. The challenge ramps up as the clock ticks, so strategy and adaptability are key.

Now with Alloyed Collective, the game’s about to get even deeper. Gearbox is adding six brand-new stages, two new survivors, and a host of new enemies and bosses to battle—seven of which hail from a mysterious group called the Solus faction. Oh, and there’s a massive new final boss too, one that Gearbox says will completely reshape how the endgame plays out.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect from Alloyed Collective:

  • Six new stages, including:
    • Pretender’s Precipice – A jagged cliffside riddled with twisted Solus experiments.
    • Iron Alluvium – A desert mining outpost with hidden caves to loot.
    • Repurposed Crater – An industrial battlefield crawling with powerful enemies.
    • Conduit Canyon – A tech-heavy zone that dives into the planet’s core.
  • Seven new enemies from the Solus faction.
  • 15 new items, including a stash of mislaid UES property.
  • New drones with “wild abilities” and a new station to customize them.
  • Two new survivors (details on them are still under wraps).

Gearbox also dropped a trailer for Alloyed Collective, giving fans a first look at some of the new content in action. From high-tech environments to intimidating new foes, this DLC looks like it’s bringing a serious upgrade to the Risk of Rain 2 experience.

With Alloyed Collective on the horizon, players across PC and consoles have plenty to look forward to. Whether you’re in it for the new loot, the brutal new bosses, or just exploring uncharted parts of the planet, this expansion is shaping up to be a must-play.
