Ninja Gaiden 2 Black got a free update! This update adds New Game+, Photo Mode, and fixes bugs to make the game better. It is now smoother and more fun to play!
What’s New?
New Game+ Mode
- You can start a new game after finishing it once.
- Keep all weapons and Ninpo, but they go back to Level 1 when you start.
Photo Mode
- You can now pause the game and take pictures! ✨
Hide Projectile Weapons
- You can choose to hide ranged weapons on your back.
⚙️ Changes to Gameplay
The update makes some parts of the game easier or harder:
✅ Less enemy health in:
- Chapter 8 (City of the Fallen Goddess)
- Chapter 11 (Night in the City of Water)
✅ More enemies in:
- Chapter 13 (Temple of Sacrifice)
- Chapter 14 (A Tempered Gravestone)
✅ Ayane’s attacks are now stronger! ⚔️

Bug Fixes
Fixed controls when playing at 120 FPS.
Fixed controller vibration issues.
Fixed glitches that made players get stuck.
Fixed crashes after playing for a long time.
Other small fixes to improve the game.
Better Graphics and More Fun!
- The game is rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5 for better graphics and smooth 60 FPS.
- Blood and gore from the original game are back!
- Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 are now playable!
