Explore every DLC location in Oblivion Remastered—from pirate dens to Daedric realms. Here’s your complete guide to all 10 included DLCs and where to find them in-game.
Every DLC Location in Oblivion Remastered — And Where to Find Them
In the original Oblivion, DLC was something you had to buy piece by piece. But in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, all 10 of the classic DLCs are bundled right into the base game — no separate downloads, no extra purchases, no waiting around.
Each one adds new quests, player homes, gear, or game-changing mechanics, and they’re all available from the start. Here’s a breakdown of every DLC and exactly where you’ll need to go to dive into each one.
7. The Wizard’s Tower (Frostcrag Spire)
Location: West of Cheydinhal or east of Bruma, in the Jerall Mountains

Frostcrag Spire is perfect for magic-focused players. It’s high up in the snowy mountains and hard to reach on your first visit, but once discovered, it becomes a major fast-travel hub thanks to the teleportation portals inside.
To get in:
- Pick the medium-level lock, or
- Find the abandoned campsite on the southern mountain slope — there’s a key hidden there.
Inside, you’ll find a journal that explains the tower’s features, including an alchemy garden and enchanting tools, all of which can be upgraded.
6. The Thieves Den (Dunbarrow Cove)
Location: South of Anvil, along the shore

This pirate-themed DLC adds a secret hideout (and new questline) at Dunbarrow Cove. You’ll need to swim a bit to reach the entrance, which leads into a cave with a bedroll and a safe resting spot.
But beware — you’ll need to clear out some undead pirates before claiming it as your own. Once done, talk to Dahlia Rackham in Anvil Bay to start customizing your new den and hire an actual crew (this time, living).
5. The Vile Lair (Deepscorn Hollow)
Location: South of Leyawiin, on the coastal islands

This one’s a bit trickier to find. Look for an underwater entrance tucked under some coastal rocks. It’s small and wooden, and pretty easy to miss without water breathing or a good swimming skill.
Deepscorn Hollow is the perfect lair for vampire or assassin-style builds. It includes:
- A Font of Renewal to cure vampirism
- An indoor garden for rare alchemy ingredients
- A very spooky vibe overall
4. Shivering Isles
Location: On an island east of Bravil

This isn’t just DLC — it’s practically its own game. The Shivering Isles expansion adds an entirely new plane of Oblivion ruled by Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness.
Expect:
- 30+ hours of new content
- A full map to explore
- An epic storyline involving the Greymarch, the destruction of Sheogorath’s realm by the Forces of Order
No player housing here, but plenty of mind-bending environments and quests.
3. The Fighter’s Stronghold (Battlehorn Castle)
Location: Just west of Chorrol

Looking for a warrior’s dream home? Battlehorn Castle is it. All you have to do is show up during an attack by marauders, fend them off, and claim the place.
Features include:
- A full dining hall, armory, and trophy room
- Upgradeable living quarters
- Secret passages and hidden journals
- A side quest involving undead in the castle’s depths
Talk to Nilphas Omellian in the Imperial City for renovations and upgrades.
2. Sundercliff Watch (Mehrunes’ Razor Quest)
Location: East of Bravil

This dungeon-heavy DLC takes players into Sundercliff Village, then deep into Sundercliff Watch, and eventually into the lost Ayleid city of Varsa Baalim.
This one’s for players who love:
- Long, lore-rich dungeons
- Tough enemy fights
- Legendary loot (hello, Mehrunes’ Razor)
- Chimer history and mysterious underground civilizations
Fun fact: this dungeon has nine levels and 23 zones. Bring supplies.
1. Other DLCs (That Don’t Add New Locations)
Not all DLCs in Oblivion Remastered involve new places to visit, but they still add value in the form of quests, gear, and game mechanics:
- Knights of the Nine: Adds a new faction questline with multiple new ruins and temples to explore across Cyrodiil.
- The Orrery: Help restore a mysterious machine in the Arcane University.
- Spell Tomes: Scattered books that instantly teach you new spells — now found randomly throughout the world.
- Horse Armor: Cosmetic gear for your horse, available at Chestnut Handy Stables near the Imperial City (because we can’t forget the most infamous DLC of them all).
