• Medic Specialists – Heal you and teammates during combat

Once hired, they follow you around the map, fight enemies, and provide backup. In Solo mode especially, having an NPC ally can swing fights in your favor.

Location: Battlewood Boulevard (south-central map)

Carina is located in the massive Battlewood Boulevard POI. Given the size of this location, she can be tricky to pinpoint, but she typically spawns near the central shopping area or near the theater.

Supply Specialists are useful for players who burn through ammo quickly. If you’re running SMGs, ARs, or dual-wielding weapons, having a Supply Specialist ensures you never run dry mid-fight.

Pro tip: Battlewood Boulevard is one of the best landing spots for loot density. If you’re landing here anyway, hiring Carina adds extra value to your early game.

#2: Carter Wu – Latte Landing

Location: Latte Landing (small POI, western edge of map)
Service: Hireable as Heavy Specialist (600 Gold)

Carter Wu can be found at Latte Landing, a smaller, quieter POI on the west side of Golden Coast. It’s not marked as a major named location, so you’ll need to look for the coffee shop-themed buildings near Bumpy Bay.

Heavy Specialists carry powerful weapons and deal significant damage in fights. They’re excellent for aggressive players who like to push enemies. In Solo mode, a Heavy Specialist essentially gives you a duo partner.

Strategy: If you’re playing Solo Ranked matches, hiring Carter Wu can help you secure elimination quests while maintaining defensive coverage.

#3: Cat Holloway – Humble Hills

Location: Humble Hills (southwest map)
Service: Hireable as Medic Specialist (600 Gold)

Cat Holloway spawns at Humble Hills, among the large suburban homes. She’s one of the featured Battle Pass characters, so you might recognize her outfit.

Medic Specialists are lifesavers—literally. They’ll heal you and your teammates during combat, reducing the need to carry excessive healing items. This is especially valuable in extended fights or when rotating through storm damage.

Pro tip: Pair a Medic Specialist with a Self-Revive Device. If you get knocked, the Medic can protect you while the Self-Revive activates, then immediately heal you back to fighting strength.

#4: Dummy – Ripped Tides

Location: Ripped Tides (southwest coast)
Service: Random (rotates each match)

Dummy is located at Ripped Tides, the beach muscle gym area near the destroyed Battle Bus remains. As a random-service NPC, his offerings change every match.

Strategy: Since Ripped Tides is also a boss spawn location, you might already be visiting this area. Check Dummy’s services while you’re hunting boss loot.

Miles Cross is located at Painted Palms, the abandoned movie studio set in the desert. This is already a solid landing spot with interactive hangar doors and defensive opportunities.

As a Heavy Specialist, Miles Cross brings serious firepower to your squad. Hire him early if you’re planning aggressive rotations or expect heavy combat.

Pro tip: Painted Palms is relatively isolated, which means you can usually hire Miles Cross without interruption. Use this to your advantage in Ranked matches where every edge matters.

#8: The Bride – Sandy Strip

Location: Sandy Strip (eastern map, Las Vegas-themed area)
Service: Random (rotates each match) + Free Gold Bars

The Bride is located at Sandy Strip, the Vegas-inspired POI with the giant Sphere landmark. She’s one of the most valuable NPCs because she gives you free Gold Bars just for talking to her—no service purchase required.

Beyond the free Gold, The Bride also offers random services that rotate each match. Always talk to her when passing through Sandy Strip, even if you don’t need her service—free Gold is free Gold.

Strategy: Sandy Strip is already a popular drop zone. Grab the free Gold from The Bride early, then use it to purchase services from other NPCs or buy a Self-Revive Device from a Mending Machine.

#9: Unpeely – Wonkeeland

Location: Wonkeeland (northwest corner)

Unpeely is located at Wonkeeland, the chaotic theme park POI with rollercoasters and grind rails. As a random-service NPC, his offerings change every match.

Wonkeeland is already a high-traffic area due to its tactical advantages, so visiting Unpeely is convenient if you’re contesting this POI anyway.

Pro tip: If you control Wonkeeland early and Unpeely offers weapon upgrades, you can upgrade your entire loadout before rotating elsewhere—giving you a significant advantage.

#10: Vengeance Jonesy – Innoloop Labs

Location: Innoloop Labs (center of map)
Service: Random (rotates each match)

Vengeance Jonesy is at Innoloop Labs, the central facility with the Zero Point Shard. This is also where you find the Unstable Element secret.

Given Innoloop Labs’ central position, Vengeance Jonesy is convenient to access from anywhere on the map. His random services can be clutch during mid-game rotations.

Strategy: If you’re hitting Innoloop Labs for the Unstable Element vault, check Vengeance Jonesy’s services while you’re there. He might offer weapon upgrades or Rifts that improve your loadout before the next fight.
