🔪 Swords Seneschal

- How to Unlock: Starting Weapon
📍 Location:
Cross the bridge early in Besacarr Hamlet, then head left. Deal with the Queen’s Hounds, then walk between the two houses to find the statue.
💡 Bonus: Activating this will let you upgrade Aran’s starter sword with parts that make it way more effective — you’ll be slicing through enemies in one hit.
🛡 Spears Seneschal
- Weapon Type: Spears
- How to Unlock: Kill 10 Spearmen
📍 Location:
After activating the Sword Seneschal, drop down and go left. Defeat a Queen’s soldier on the boardwalk, then turn right to take out a sleeping guard. Smash the logs beside him to reveal a hidden path. You’ll find the Spears Seneschal ahead — but be ready for a surprise ambush from a Marauder.
💡 Pro Tip: Make sure Adso is around when you kill the Spearmen or you won’t unlock the Longspear Forge Scroll.
⚔️ Twins Seneschal

- How to Unlock: Kill 60 Axe-Wielding Undead in the Crimson Fort
📍 Location:
After grabbing the Spears Seneschal, head north and go right up the hill near the cliff wall. You’ll see the Twins Seneschal statue dual-wielding axes.
💡 Note: If it’s your first time in Besacarr Hamlet, you probably won’t have the Twin Axes yet. Come back after grinding kills at the Crimson Fort.
🗡 Daggers Seneschal
- Weapon Type: Twin Daggers
- How to Unlock: Kill 30 Marauders
📍 Location:
From the Twins Seneschal, hug the left and keep following the path. Kill the guard inside a hut, then take a right into a watery area. A water elemental will attack — take it down with quick swings. The Daggers Seneschal is underneath the bridge.
💡 Farming Tip: You can keep killing the Marauder that respawns near the Spears Seneschal until you hit 30 kills.
⚒ Polearms Seneschal
- Weapon Type: Polearms (Hyssop, Warhammers, War Axe)
- How to Unlock: Craft your first weapon (Hyssop) in the Forge of the Gods
📍 Location:
Head to the Troll River Anvil, then go down the grassy hill. Defeat the guards and take out the miniboss Mayhem Warmonger. Afterward, follow the narrow path left to a wooden house. Beat the two guards there to find and activate the Polearm Seneschal.
🗡️ Greatsword Seneschal
- Weapon Type: Greatswords
- How to Unlock: Kill 60 Claymore-wielding Undead in the Hollow Plain
📍 Location:
Return to the Troll River Anvil and rest if needed. Then head back to the gate and take a right. Stop when you see Queen’s Hounds near the swamp. Look for a small path on the right behind some houses. The Greatsword Seneschal is at the top.
💡 Weapon Insight: The Claymore is a slow hitter but devastating — capable of decapitating multiple enemies in one swing. Worth the grind.
🔁 Can’t Activate One Yet? Don’t Sweat It
The maps in Blades of Fire are designed for multiple visits. If you find a Seneschal but can’t activate it, it’ll stay marked on your map until you’re ready. Just circle back when you’ve met the unlock conditions.
