Asmongold has done it again—he’s officially the most-watched streamer in the world for the second quarter of 2025. Yup, even with names like Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and Hasan on the board, he managed to pull ahead.

It’s not the first time he’s topped the charts, either. Back in March, he had the most hours watched on Twitch. Then in April, he straight-up became the platform’s number one. But here’s the kicker (pun intended): he didn’t just stick to Twitch this time around. He branched out to Kick, and it totally paid off.

According to StreamCharts (via Dexerto), from April 1 to June 30, Asmongold snagged 28.58 million total hours watched across Twitch and Kick combined. Just on Twitch alone, he was the second-most watched with 26.41 million hours—right behind Caedrel at 27.87 million. But once you throw in his Kick numbers, Asmongold takes the top spot overall. Not bad for a guy who only started streaming on Kick in June.

What’s Next for Asmongold?

Streaming is wild—someone can go viral overnight and knock the current king off the throne. So while Asmongold’s reign is strong right now, it’s totally possible someone like Kai or Speed could bounce back with a subathon or some other mega event.

Still, considering Asmongold just started using Kick and already hit #1, imagine what he’ll pull off in Q3 if he sticks with dual streaming the whole way through. Those numbers could easily skyrocket.

Kick’s Making Moves

Kick may not be as big as Twitch (yet), but it’s definitely shaking things up. Their streamer deals are super appealing—like that wild 95/5 revenue split in favor of the streamer, compared to Twitch’s standard 50/50. Even with a slight cut for multistreaming, Kick’s setup is hard to ignore.

They’ve already locked in a bunch of top creators, and even smaller streamers are starting to notice the perks. If more heavy-hitters follow Asmongold’s lead and start streaming to both Twitch and Kick, the leaderboard could get real competitive, real fast.
