About Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Released on July 9, 2026, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a ground-up remake of the beloved 2013 pirate adventure, developed by Ubisoft Singapore using the latest Anvil engine. It follows Edward Kenway — privateer turned pirate — as he carves his legend across the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, uncovering a conspiracy between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order along the way.

Resynced is far more than a graphical refresh. The combat system has been rebuilt closer to Assassin's Creed Shadows, favouring precise parries over button-mashing combos. Parkour gains back ejects, side ejects, and a manual crouch, making traversal feel genuinely new. Naval gameplay adds recruitable officers for the Jackdaw, dynamic weather that changes how your ship handles mid-battle, and expanded underwater shipwreck exploration. The story receives exclusive new content too — expanded arcs for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, a new scene deepening Edward's relationship with Caroline, and three new officer companions woven into the main narrative.

This hub collects every guide we have published for the game — from beginner tips and treasure map locations to all Mayan Stelae and legendary ship strategies.
