Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Just Found a Genius Trick for Taking Out Campers on Stakeout
Even though Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been out for four months, some players are just now discovering a sneaky way to deal with campers on the popular Stakeout map!
Despite Black Ops 6 being one of the most fast-paced entries in the series thanks to its omniscient movement system, camping is still a problem—especially on small maps like Stakeout. But thanks to a new discovery, you might never have to deal with annoying campers again.

Why Is The Stakeout So Popular?
Currently in Season 2, Black Ops 6 keeps adding new multiplayer maps, but Stakeout remains a fan favorite. This small, chaotic map is set inside a tiny apartment complex in Avalon, offering fast and intense action.
Stakeout is so popular that Treyarch gave it its own 24/7 playlist, meaning players can jump into back-to-back matches on the map with rotating game modes. But even with high-speed gameplay, campers have found a way to ruin the fun—until now!
The Simplest Trick to Take Out Campers
A Reddit user named Electrical-Energy184 just dropped some game-changing info:
🔹 Stakeout has tiny vents scattered throughout the map.
🔹 One vent connects two bedrooms, which are prime camping spots.
🔹 While you can’t crawl through them, you CAN toss grenades, Semtex, or other lethal equipment through the holes to blast campers out of their hideouts!
This blew players’ minds because so many had no idea about the vents. One user, Spector_559, admitted they “didn’t even notice the vent” until seeing the post. Another, Crazypants36, simply said, “Oh damn, that’s a neat trick.” Dozens of players are now jumping in to try it for themselves!

Season 2’s New Map is Getting Mixed Reactions
Alongside this newly discovered trick, Black Ops 6 just dropped a brand-new multiplayer map with Season 2 Reloaded—and it’s causing some controversy.
The map, called Bullet, is set on a high-speed bullet train and completely ditches the classic three-lane system. Instead, it has just one lane where players duke it out in chaotic close-quarters combat.
At first, players mocked the map, but it’s quickly becoming a fan favorite. Like Stakeout, Bullet was popular enough to get its own 24/7 playlist shortly after launch.
While new maps keep dropping, Stakeout remains one of the best in the game, and now players have a secret weapon against campers. If you haven’t tried using the vent grenade trick, now’s your chance!
