In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, not all Nevrons are out to kill you. Some, like the graceful Danseuse Teacher, bring a different kind of challenge—one that tests your timing instead of your DPS. Found deep within Frozen Hearts, this White Nevron invites you to spar through a rhythmic dance battle rather than a brutal fight.

🩰 Danseuse Teacher Quest Overview
When you encounter the Danseuse Teacher, she’ll offer a sparring challenge instead of a traditional fight. Accept her invitation by choosing:
“Okay… I’m ready to start the sparring session.”
To complete the challenge:
- Parry all 15 hits from the Danseuse Teacher.
- She attacks in 5 sequences, each made of 3 hits.
- Time your parries perfectly for all 15 to succeed.
Reward: Completing this challenge earns you the Danseuse outfit for Lune, a unique cosmetic you can’t get anywhere else.
⚔️ Should You Fight Danseuse Teacher?
After the dance challenge, she’ll offer a second invitation—a final dance, this time a real fight.
💡 Wait! If you defeat her before meeting Blanche, you’ll miss out on a 100 Colour of Lumina reward.
So unless you’re cool with that, talk to Blanche first before accepting the Danseuse Teacher’s battle request.
Battle Rewards (If You Choose to Fight):
- 3x Grandiose Chroma Catalyst
- Augmented Counter III Pictos (either a new unlock or level-up)
📍 Danseuse Teacher Location in Frozen Hearts
- Travel to Frozen Hearts, specifically east of Monoco’s Station where the Eternal Ice is located.
- Cross the railway on the left side and continue past a Pelerin enemy.
- Enter the cave beyond that enemy.
- Use the thread inside to climb up to Glacial Falls Rest Point.
- Turn around from the Rest Point, defeat the enemy ahead, then take a left at the corner.
- Walk along the railway track to the end. You’ll find four Danseuse Nevrons.
- None are hostile. Approach the White Nevron—that’s the Danseuse Teacher.
The Danseuse Teacher is one of Expedition 33’s most unique encounters, blending combat mechanics with rhythm-based sparring. Whether you’re in it for the outfit, the lore, or the loot, just make sure you meet Blanche first before turning the dance into a duel.
