Deadlock’s New Patch Introduces a Major Three-Lane Map Rework!
After a long period of silence, Deadlock has finally received a new patch, and it’s a big one. While many considered the game to be “dead” due to the lack of updates, this latest patch completely changes the map layout—shifting it from four lanes to three!

Deadlock Now Follows the Classic Three-Lane MOBA Layout
The biggest takeaway from this update is that Deadlock now follows a three-lane structure, moving away from its previous four-lane design.
✔ What’s new with the map?
- The map size remains the same, but there are now more vents (jump pads) for faster movement.
- Bridge buffs now spawn on the actual bridge, connecting the middle lane buildings, which means more intense fights in that area.
- The mid-boss now spawns under the map, close to the mid-lane, with two ways to enter the pit:
- Climb the ropes to the temple’s first floor.
- Take the stairs from the mid-lane entrance to reach ground level.
- Mid-lane is smaller than the side lanes, just like in classic MOBAs.
- Neutral camps remain untouched, so junglers can still farm!
Other Map Adjustments
- The Curiosity Shop has relocated—now attached to underground teleporters.
- The Main Menu now includes a “Explore Map” mode, letting players train movement, lineups, and strategies.
- The map now features more juke spots, giving stealthy players more escape options.
