The award-winning horror fishing RPG Dredge has officially joined Xbox Game Pass for all tiers. Here’s what’s new for May 2025, including DOOM: The Dark Ages and Kulebra.

Black Salt Games’ eerie and award-winning horror RPG Dredge has officially launched on Xbox Game Pass for all subscription tiers—Standard, PC, and Ultimate. Originally released in March 2023, Dredge quickly built a cult following thanks to its eerie blend of fishing sim and Lovecraftian horror, and now it’s even easier to hop aboard the haunted waters.

🎣 Dredge: A Haunting Catch

In Dredge, you play as a lone fisherman just trying to make a living. But what starts as a peaceful fishing trip soon spirals into something far more sinister. As players explore the seas, they’ll discover grotesque sea creatures, mysterious shipwrecks, and locals with unsettling tales. The game has received a wave of praise, currently holding a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam and an 82 average on OpenCritic.

Bonus Fact: A live-action film adaptation is currently in the works from Story Kitchen, the team behind the Sonic the Hedgehog movie!

If you’re jumping into Dredge via Game Pass, keep in mind that only the base game is included. Its three DLCs — Blackstone Key, The Pale Reach, and The Iron Rig — are available as separate purchases and add new biomes, fish, and gear.
