We’re now in the second half of the EA FC 25 Ultimate Team season, but the action isn’t slowing down.
New promos and events keep dropping every week, giving you more chances to build your dream squad.
While regular Gold cards are great, you’ll need special ones like Heroes and Icons to take your team to the next level.
Luckily, EA keeps the game fresh with a lineup of promos throughout the season. Here’s a breakdown of the EA FC 25 promo calendar, so you know what’s coming and when to expect it.

What to Expect in EA FC 25 Promos
EA doesn’t release an official promo schedule, but some events are guaranteed to return—like Team of the Season and Future Stars. These are fan favorites that EA has brought back year after year.
EA also likes to introduce new promos throughout the season. They usually announce these just a few days before they go live, making them hard to predict.
Last year, we saw the debut of Thunderstruck and Golazo, both of which were popular. There’s a good chance they’ll return in EA FC 25.
However, this calendar is based on past trends and leaks, so EA could always switch things up. They might replace old promos, introduce new ones, or move them to different times in the season.
What’s the Next EA FC 25 Promo?
The next EA FC 25 promo will be Future Stars Team 2. The first squad arrived on January 31, labeled as ‘Team 1,’ so Team 2 is expected to drop on February 7.
After that, there will be a mix of returning and new promos. Road to the Final is likely coming back as the Champions League knockout stage begins. There’s also a leaked promo called Grassroot Greats, which might bring back fan-favorite players from past FIFA games.

What Are EA FC 25 Promos?
Promos in Ultimate Team bring special player cards with boosted stats. These cards replace a player’s normal Gold, Silver, or Bronze card while they’re in packs. This sometimes causes regular cards to rise in price on the Transfer Market.
Most promos also come with:
- Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) to unlock exclusive players
- Objectives to earn valuable rewards
- Evolutions that upgrade existing players
When Are EA FC 25 Promos Released?
New EA FC 25 promos usually launch on Fridays at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. That’s when the new cards go into packs, and the old ones are removed.
However, not every week gets a new promo. Some events run for multiple weeks, while others have more than one squad of players. EA sometimes takes a break before major promos like TOTY.
Even within a promo, new content drops throughout the event—like extra SBCs, Objectives, and special player cards. If you want to stay on top of everything, it’s a good idea to log in daily at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT to check for updates.
