Liberation Peak is a sniper’s paradise—and a nightmare if you’re on the receiving end of those long-range headshots. Set in the rugged mountains of Tajikistan, this map offers everything a marksman could want: elevation advantages, narrow chokepoints, and plenty of unsuspecting targets scrambling for cover that simply doesn’t exist.
But here’s the thing: knowing dónde to position yourself can mean the difference between topping the scoreboard and respawning every 30 seconds. This guide breaks down the best sniper spots on Liberation Peak for both factions, complete with tips on getting into position and what you can cover from each location.
Unlike close-quarters maps that favor aggressive playstyles, Liberation Peak rewards patience and precision. The map features:
Before we dive into specific spots, make sure you’ve checked out our Guía de los mejores equipamientos de Recon y Desafíos de la clase Recon to optimize your marksman build. Trust me, the right loadout makes these positions even deadlier.

The Ridge 13 version (used in Conquest, Escalation, and other large-scale modes) centers around a dominant rock formation in the middle. Both teams will fight tooth and nail to control it, but here’s a pro tip: many parts of this formation are actually outside the combat zone. You can use this to your advantage for quick positioning moves.
Important reminder: When you aim down sights with a sniper rifle, you’ll produce scope glare that gives away your position. Change spots frequently, especially after scoring a few kills.
NATO doesn’t get as many natural elevated positions compared to Pax Armata, but they have better access to that central rock formation. Here are your go-to spots:

Lo que obtienes: Inside your HQ area, there’s a building with a distinctive red roof. Climb the front wall to access the lower section—the sloped roof provides natural cover while you work.
Por qué funciona: From this position, you can watch the left side for activity at Objectives B and C, then pivot right to monitor enemies approaching from Objective E through that narrow passage. It’s relatively safe since you’re in HQ territory, but don’t get too comfortable—good Recon players on the enemy team will be looking for you.
Consejo profesional: Use the slope of the roof to peek and hide. Expose yourself only when taking shots, then duck back behind the ridge.

Cómo llegar: Look for three broken trees near the northeast side of the rock formation. Move through the left two trees and start climbing. You’ll get an out-of-bounds warning—ignore it and keep going until you can drop down onto a flat area.
Lo que obtienes: This spot gives you an excellent view over Objective C. Yes, you’ll be in the out-of-bounds zone briefly, but the actual sniping position is safe. Use the wall to your right as additional cover.
Nota importante: This is a semi-sneaky spot that requires a bit of parkour knowledge. It’s worth learning the route in practice mode before attempting it in a live match.

La configuración: Scramble up the southwest side of that big rock formation. The climbing is straightforward, and you’ll quickly reach a position overlooking Objective E and the entire narrow passage.
Bonus coverage: Push up slightly further, and you’ll also have sightlines on the enemy’s sniper nest (which we’ll cover in the Pax Armata section). This makes it great for counter-sniping.

Cuándo usarlo: If NATO is getting pushed back hard, this spot just outside your HQ zone becomes invaluable for defensive play.
Coverage area: You get a wide view of Objective B, portions of Objective C, the central rock formation, and the passage where Objective E sits. The best part? Your flanks are completely secure—HQ protection on your left, steep mountain face on your right.
Ventaja táctica: This is perfect for supporting a comeback push. You can pick off enemies who’ve overextended while your team regroups.
If you’re spawning as Pax Armata in the southeast, congratulations—you arguably have the better sniper positions on this map. Here’s where to set up shop:

Ubicación: Just south of Objective F, you’ll find what might be the single best sniper position in all of Battlefield 6.
What makes it legendary: This elevated nest gives you coverage of:
The cherry on top: It’s covered from above, protecting you from helicopter and jet strafing runs. You can sit here and wreak havoc for entire matches if you’re smart about it.
Wishful thinking: El Deploy Beacon would be perfect here for quick respawns, but unfortunately it’s tied to the Assault class, not Recon. Still, ask your squad’s Assault player to drop one nearby if possible.
Cuándo usarlo: If Pax Armata gets pushed all the way back and you’re defending Objectives F and E from your HQ.
El compromiso: It’s not as elevated as the Objective F nest, but it offers more cover and still maintains solid sightlines on Objective E. Use this when the enemy has air superiority and you need protection.

Cómo llegar: Climb the ridge on the left side of the narrow gap where Objective C sits. You’ll pass through some out-of-bounds warnings during the approach—keep moving through them.
Coverage: Excellent view of Objective B and NATO troops pushing Objective C. This is ideal for defensive play when you control the central objectives.
Watch your six: Your right flank is exposed since enemies can loop around the other side of the central rock formation. Either have a squadmate watch your back or check your surroundings frequently. Our La mejor guía de consejos y trucos covers situational awareness techniques.
Quick access spot: There’s a building southwest of Objective D with an accessible roof. It provides decent views of enemies approaching from Objective B and anyone climbing the central rock formation.
Major weakness: This position is extremely exposed, especially to vehicle threats and aerial attacks. Hit a few shots and relocate immediately. Don’t get greedy.
Now that you know the spots, here are some tactics to maximize your effectiveness:
Manage your scope glare: Every time you ADS (aim down sights), you’re broadcasting your position with that telltale glint. Take your shot and immediately reposition or break sightlines. Counter-snipers are always watching for that glare.
Control the central rock: Whichever team dominates this formation typically wins the match. As a sniper, you can provide crucial area denial by making it dangerous for enemies to approach or climb it.
Use the terrain’s natural funnels: Liberation Peak forces players through specific chokepoints. Pre-aim these areas and you’ll rack up eliminations as enemies predictably move through them.
Coordinate with your squad: Mark enemies with detección y ping even if they’re out of your effective range. Your assault and engineer teammates will appreciate the intel.
Unlock essential gear: Completo desafíos to unlock better optics and attachments. The right scope can turn a good position into a godlike one.
Learn the bullet drop: Each sniper rifle behaves differently. Spend time with your chosen weapon to understand its ballistics. Our range finder guide will help you master long-range accuracy.

Liberation Peak rewards players who understand elevation, positioning, and patience. Unlike spray-and-pray maps, this one lets skilled marksmen truly shine. The key is knowing these spots but also knowing cuando to use them and when to relocate.
Don’t camp one spot all game—rotate between positions based on where the objectives are being contested. Stay mobile, stay unpredictable, and most importantly, make every shot count. Your team is relying on you to control those long sightlines and keep enemies from advancing freely.
