If you’re looking to unlock every vehicle in Mario Kart World, you’re gonna need coins—lots of them.

For every 100 coins you collect, you’ll unlock a random kart. With a total of 3,000 coins required to snag all 30 karts, it’s a bit of a grind.

You’ll earn coins just by playing normally, but if you want everything unlocked fast, there’s a clever little glitch you can use to farm the full 3,000 in under an hour.

Fair warning though: this method is kind of an exploit. That means Nintendo could patch it out at any time. So if you’re gonna use it, jump in while it still works—because this is hands-down the easiest and fastest way to get every kart without even finishing a single race.

To get started, head into the game’s Free Roam mode. Start cruising around and keep an eye out for cars with three coins trailing behind them.

They’re not too rare—you should spot one in just a couple of minutes. Hit up busy roads to increase your chances, but avoid roads with boost pads. Trust us, there’s a reason for that.

Once you find a “coin car,” drive behind it and start weaving left to right. The coins behind these cars will respawn infinitely, as long as nothing is blocking their hitboxes. You can just keep scooping them up as long as the car keeps moving.

Even better—if that car runs into an obstacle and stops moving, you’ve hit the jackpot. Now you can simply drive back and forth behind it, collecting coins at a rate of about 120 coins per minute.

Things to Keep in Mind

After hitting 1,000 coins, the game will stop giving you unlock notifications every 100 coins. But don’t worry—your coins are still being counted, and the new karts will unlock once you exit Free Roam mode.

Yeah, it’s a bit repetitive—but it’s definitely worth doing now. Nintendo has been pretty quick to patch out similar glitches in other games (remember the duplication trick in Tears of the Kingdom?), so there’s a good chance this one won’t stick around long.

If you’re serious about unlocking everything in Mario Kart World without the grind, now’s your shot. Happy farming!
