GTA 6 Console Release Set for Fall 2025, PC Version to Follow? 🎮💻

According to Corsair Gaming’s financial VP, Ronald van Veen, GTA 6 will:
📅 Launch on consoles in Fall 2025
💻 Arrive on PC in early 2026

Speaking during Corsair’s latest financial report, van Veen said:

“GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about. And we’ll get a glimpse of that later in the year for console. My understanding now is it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC.” As per VGC).

While Rockstar and Take-Two haven’t confirmed this, the timing aligns with previous Rockstar releases.

🕰️ Rockstar’s Typical PC Release Pattern:

  • GTA 5: Console in 2013 → PC in 2015 (2-year gap)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2: Console in 2018 → PC in 2019 (1-year gap)
  • GTA 6? Console in Fall 2025 → PC in Early 2026 (Potential 6-month gap)

If this leak is accurate, GTA 6’s PC version could come much sooner than expected compared to previous Rockstar games.

GTA 6 on Xbox Series S? Take-Two Says “No Problem” ✅

Another big question has been how GTA 6 will perform on the less powerful Xbox Series S.

Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick doesn’t seem worried. Back in November, he stated:

🗣️ “Our labels are really good at that. I’m not really worried.”

Basically, Rockstar has a history of making games work across different hardware, so GTA 6 should be optimized well even on lower-end consoles.

While Rockstar is keeping details under wraps, more announcements should arrive later this year.
