How to Complete the Purumi Quest in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, mysteries are tucked into just about every corner of the Continent. Some are huge and story-altering, while others are small, charming moments you can easily miss if you aren’t paying close attention.
One of these small but rewarding side quests involves a Gestral kid named Purumi—and if you help out, you’ll snag a sweet cosmetic outfit for one of your team members. Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to find Purumi, help him down, and score your reward.
Where to Find Purumi and Alexsoundro
You’ll naturally make your way to Gestral Village as you follow the main story. The village is fairly big, packed with colorful Gestral characters to meet, so it’s worth taking your time to explore every nook and cranny.
Here’s where to start:
- Head to the Gestral Bazar, located to the left of the big Chief House in the center of town.
- Near the Bazar, you’ll find Alexsoundro, a worried Gestral standing under a large pillar.
He’ll ask you to help bring his kid, Purumi, back down from the pillar overhead.
How to Reach Purumi
Now, here’s the important bit:
You must talk to Alexsoundro first before going to Purumi.
If you don’t, Purumi will straight-up refuse to come down, no matter what you say.
To find Purumi:
- From the Chief House entrance, head left, hugging the wall on your right.
- At the first fork, go right into a small back alley.
- You’ll spot a shining rope you can climb—grab it.
- Follow the path—there’ll be a little jumping, grappling, and climbing involved, but it’s nothing too tricky.
- At the end, you’ll find Purumi chilling at the top of a tall pillar.
If you already spoke with Alexsoundro, Purumi will now agree to come down after you interact with him.
Purumi Quest Rewards
Once you convince Purumi to get down, simply jump down yourself (no need to backtrack the whole path!) and talk to Alexsoundro again at the Bazar.
As a thank-you for reuniting the family, Alexsoundro rewards you with the Sakapatate outfit—a unique cosmetic item for Lune. 🎉
