The Layover challenge is a hidden objective in Chapter 5. Once you’ve got control of your dragon, the game encourages you to stray off the beaten path and find two secret landing zones. Miss them, and you miss out on some sweet loot—and 50 bonus gold.
Both landing zones are available from the start of the chapter, but you must find them before progressing too far, or you’ll hit a point of no return.

Landing Zone #1: Tower Titan Showdown
- When to look: Right after the dragon tutorial ends and your main objective shifts to “Destroy the Four Hell Carriers.”
- Where to go: Turn left immediately upon reaching the open-air area.
- What to look for: A massive titan demon standing on top of a tall spire.
- What to do: Take down the titan. This unlocks the first secret landing zone.
- Loot waiting for you: A Gore Nest that drops a Demonic Essence (used to boost your max stats) and some gold.

- What’s there: A Pulverizer weapon skin, more gold, a Ruby, and upgrade items.
