How to Destroy All Wolf Statues in DOOM: The Dark Ages

Need help finding the three wolf statues in DOOM: The Dark Ages Chapter 6? Here’s how to break them all and unlock the pink forcefield for a key upgrade.

There’s a bunch of secrets and collectibles waiting to be uncovered in Chapter 6 of DOOM: The Dark Ages, but not everything can be picked up right away. One particularly juicy reward is locked behind a glowing pink forcefield and guarded by three eerie spectral wolf statues.

To get past this magical barrier, you’ll need to destroy all three statues using the Slayer’s Saw Shield. Luckily, all three are hanging out pretty close to the forcefield itself, so tracking them down isn’t too much of a hassle. You can hit them in any order, but we’ll walk you through the route we took to make it simple. You can also check All Health, Armor and Ammo.

To get to the first statue, head over to where those spectral wolf statues are chilling. Now, jump off the ledge behind them. Once you’re down, turn around and follow the wall to the right. You’ll spot the first wolf statue tucked away there, ready for a Saw Shield beatdown.

Now swing over to the opposite side, toward the castle. You’ll see an old two-wheeled cart near a fallen tree and a few barrels. Look to the left of that cart—there’s a little alcove hiding the second statue.

Third Wolf Statue Location

For the final one, make your way back to the area with the spectral statues and leave through the stone pathway. Straight ahead, perched up on a rocky ledge, you’ll see the third and final wolf statue staring you down.

What You Get for Destroying All the Wolf Statues

Once all three statues are toast, the glowing pink forcefield disappears, and you’ll be able to snag the Ruby held by the knight statue. This Ruby can be used to upgrade the Slayer’s weapons and gear—which is definitely something you’ll want, especially if you’re tackling DOOM: The Dark Ages on higher difficulty levels.
