How to Start the “A Wound in Time” Quest

Your first step is heading to Kvatch and finding Priest Ilav Dralgoner. Talk to him and make sure to choose the “Hope” dialogue option first—this will trigger the “A Wound in Time” quest. After that, pick the “Disappearances” option to get more info.

With the quest active, you’re off to explore the Beldaburo Ayleid Ruins.

Exploring Beldaburo Ayleid Ruins

Expect trouble at the entrance—there are enemies lurking right outside, and they’ll follow you in if you don’t handle them first. Inside, you’ll face a mix of skeletal soldiers, rats, and zombies. Work your way through until you reach a magic-sealed door you can’t pass.

Time to head back to Kvatch.

Unlocking “Saving Time Itself” Quest

Talk to Ilav Dralgoner again, and he’ll grant you Order’s Blessing, which kicks off the next quest: Saving Time Itself. This lets you pass through the magical barrier in Beldaburo. Head back to the ruins and go through the now-open door.

At the end, you’ll face off against Corelian, a lich who throws all kinds of magic your way and summons headless zombies. Targeting his head with arrows makes the fight way easier (especially on higher difficulties).

Once defeated, loot Corelian’s body for:

  • Beldaburo Key
  • Corelian’s Diary
  • An Elder Scroll

Use the key to unlock the shortcut back to the ruins’ entrance.

Claiming the Order Gear Set

Bring the Elder Scroll back to Ilav Dralgoner in Kvatch. After a short convo about restoring the flow of time, a new dialogue option—“Equipment”—will appear. Select it to claim your well-earned Order gear and weapons.
