Grow a Garden isn’t slowing down with its updates—and we’re here for it. After adding cats and dogs, the latest Lunar event has brought a whole new gang of pets into the mix: frogs, hedgehogs, owls, raccoons, and yep, moles.
Out of all these new critters, the Mole is kind of a big deal—especially if you’re just starting out. It has a super handy ability that helps you farm cash like a pro. Let’s break down how you can grab one and start stacking your Sheckles in no time. You can also check How to Get the Rare Pepper Seed in Grow a Garden.

How to Get the Mole in Grow a Garden
To get a Mole, you’ll need to hatch it from either a Night Egg or a Premium Night Egg. There are two main ways to get these:
- Participate in the Lunar Event and earn them for free.
- Or, buy a Premium Egg pack—which costs 1990 Robux for 10 eggs.
Unless you’ve got Robux to spare, we highly recommend grinding the event and earning them the free way.
Once you’ve got an egg:
- Plant it in an empty patch in your garden.
- Wait for it to hatch.
- Regular Night Egg: ~4 hours and 10 minutes
- Premium Night Egg: just 30 seconds (worth it if you’re impatient)
- Regular Night Egg: ~4 hours and 10 minutes
Each egg has a 22% chance of hatching into a Mole, so don’t be surprised if it takes a few tries. Hang in there—it’s worth it.
What Does the Mole Do in Grow a Garden?
Here’s where the Mole really shines. Every 79.07 seconds, your Mole buddy digs underground and comes back with free treasures—either gear or straight-up Sheckles.

If you’re new to Grow a Garden and looking to build up your cash stack fast:
- Equip three Moles as your pets.
- Keep them well-fed so they keep gaining XP and aging up.
The older and more experienced they get, the better they perform. Simple!
