Option 1: Loot and Merchants

You’ll occasionally find Wood:

• In crates, barrels, and chests around the world.
  
• From blacksmith vendors, who often keep a few in stock (especially Orlaith near the Horns of the South gate).
  

But for a consistent supply, you’ll want to go the Lumbering route.

🪓 Use Lumbering Spots (Best Method)

The best way to get Wood is by using Lumbering Spots, which act like designated log-chopping stations.

Step-by-step:

1. Get a Woodcutting Axe
   
   • Buy one from Orlaith, the vendor near the main gate in Horns of the South.
     
   • Or occasionally find one as loot.
     
2. Find a Lumbering Spot
   
   • There’s a convenient one right in front of the Keeper Barracks’ archery range in the Horns of the South fortress.
     
3. Chop Logs
   
   • Interact with the logs to start chopping.
     
   • Each swing nets you 3 Wood.

4. Wait for Respawn
