Shipwrecked and confused? Here’s your ultimate, fun-to-read guide to finding the Rose, Sage, and Feather so you can make an offering at the All-Mother’s Shrine in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
Stranded and Searching: How to Unlock the All-Mother’s Shrine Reward
So, you’ve just crash-landed in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon (thanks for the assist, Caradoc), and you’re probably still shaking the seawater out of your boots.
Welcome to the Horns of the South, where danger lurks around every corner and mysterious shrines beg for offerings.
One of the first intriguing spots you’ll stumble across? The All-Mother’s Shrine—a spooky, crumbling stone monument with some heavy lore vibes. Also check How to Use Weapon and Armor Relics.
What’s Going on at the Shrine?
You’ll find two super-panicked peasants and a not-so-lucky fellow who’s, uh, very much dead. Loot the body (respectfully, of course) and you’ll find a letter—The Letter to Aleous—which spills the tea on how to make an offering to the All-Mother and earn a shiny reward: a powerful amulet called the All-Mother’s Mercy.
To make that offering, you’ll need to track down three special items: a Rose, some Sage, and a Feather. Let’s break it down.
🌹 Where to Find a Rose
Roses don’t just grow anywhere, but lucky for you, some rose bushes are tucked away in specific spots. Here are a few confirmed locations:

- Behind the Red Priest merchant in Shadow of the Horns Keep
- Beneath the stone arch near Abigor and the One-Handed Skill statue
- West of the Ruined Market Square, northeast of Shadows of the Horns
- Along the outer wall of Shadows of the Horns Keep
Snag one and move on to your next ingredient!
🌿 How to Get Sage
Sage isn’t just a fancy seasoning—it’s essential for your offering. You can find it two ways: growing wild in the world (look for purple, feathery tufts) or hiding in crates, sacks, and chests like a sneaky little herb ninja.

Here’s where it grows naturally:
- Just northwest of the All-Mother’s Shrine, right by the road
- Northeast of the Shrine, not far from your starting point
- East of Shadows of the Horns Keep, close to those rose bushes
Keep your eyes peeled—Sage likes to blend in.
🪶 Where to Find a Feather
Time to get…a little violent. Feathers are most commonly dropped by enemies wearing light armor—so bandits, basically. If you’re in the mood for a little bandit-bashing, you’ll probably collect more than a few feathers without even trying.
Not feeling stabby? You can also buy feathers (and wood!) from Osbryht, the friendly neighborhood blacksmith at Shadow of the Horns Keep. They’ll cost you 16 gold each.
🎁 The Reward: All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet
Once you’ve gathered your botanical trio and some feathers, head back to the shrine and interact with it.
Boom—you’ll receive the All-Mother’s Mercy Amulet. This little lifesaver is a one-time-use resurrection charm.
If you take a fatal blow, you’ll pop back up with full health (though your mana and stamina bars stay empty), and the amulet shatters.
Think of it as a magical “Get Out of Death Free” card. Not bad for three ingredients and a little scavenger hunt, right?
So there you have it! A guide that’s part treasure hunt, part nature walk, and a little bit of murder. Happy adventuring, and may the All-Mother smile upon your offerings! 🗡️🌸🕊️
