Want your Nightfarers to look like Artorias, Solaire, or Havel? Here’s how to unlock every Dark Souls-inspired skin in Elden Ring: Nightreign and where they came from.

How to Get Dark Souls Skins

While you can’t create a custom character in Nightreign, you can definitely personalize how your Nightfarers look.

Each of the eight playable characters can wear alternate costumes, and once you’ve spent enough time grinding through Expeditions, you’ll start unlocking new outfits—including the much-hyped Dark Souls skins.

The first two sets you’ll unlock are the Dawn and Darkness skins, but the real nostalgia kicks in post-game with several outfits directly inspired by legendary Dark Souls armor sets.

Here’s how to get them and a complete list of every Souls-inspired skin available. Also check All Map Markers and How Multiplayer Works.

🔓 How to Unlock Dark Souls Skins

To get access to Dark Souls outfits in Nightreign, you’ve got to finish the game. Specifically:

  1. Defeat Four Nightlords to unlock the final Expedition.
  2. Complete the eighth Expedition and roll credits.
  3. Head to the Dresser in the Roundtable Hold (unlocked after your second Nightlord) to buy skins.

While the Dawn and Darkness costumes cost a hefty 14,000 and 35,000 Murk, the Dark Souls skins are only 7,500 Murk each, making them way more accessible.

You can switch between any unlocked skins at the Dresser, and your chosen look applies whether your character is in play or just chilling at the Hold.
