- Missed anything? Replay the mission anytime from the Batcomputer in the Batcave.
The Mimes mission is your first taste of Chapter 2 and the first time Batman and Catwoman officially work together. The whole mission plays out inside Shreck’s Department Store — a location filled with mime enemies, secret vents, a cat-themed arcade game, and a piano puzzle that actually requires you to play a tune. It is one of the more inventive Chapter 2 missions in the game.
There are 11 collectibles in total across this mission. Some are right on the path, while others need Catwoman’s specific abilities to reach. This guide covers every single one in the order you encounter them, so you will not have to backtrack.
You can find the full game on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation Store. You can also check the official Warner Bros. Games page for more info.
Mimes Mission – All Collectibles Overview

- WayneTech Cache 1 – Opening room, right wall painting (Catwoman’s Whip)
- Cat Head 1 – Second room, back-right corner
- WayneTech Cache 2 – Security camera room, locked door with key
- Cat Head 2 – Large elevator room, held by the central statue
- Cat Head 3 – After the elevator, top of stairs, inside a vent tunnel
- WayneTech Cache 3 – Ambush room, right side vent (Call Kitty required)
- WayneTech Cache 4 – Pets Store, Catwoman’s Whip then Batman’s Batclaw
- Red Brick (Feline) – Gadgets Store, cat arcade game opposite the Pets Store
- Cat Head 4 – Large combat room, hanging near the Sports Goods sign
- WayneTech Cache 5 – Toys section, piano puzzle (sequence: 3-4-5-8-7)
- Cat Head 5 – Above the Shrecks sign, turn around near the exit
WayneTech Cache 1 Location

Right after the opening cutscene of the Mimes mission, do not head forward yet. Turn to the right wall and look for a painting hanging there. You will notice yellow screws on the frame. Use Catwoman’s Whip on the yellow screws to loosen the painting. It will swing open and reveal the first WayneTech Cache tucked behind it. Interact with it to collect it before moving on.
Cat Head 1 Location

Progress into the second room of the mission. Once you are inside, do not rush forward. Look toward the back-right corner of the room. The first Cat Head is sitting there and can be destroyed. Walk up to it and smash it to add it to your total.
WayneTech Cache 2 Location

Continue through the level until you reach a room with two Mimes posing as mannequins and active security cameras. As soon as you enter this room, look immediately to your left and smash the desk. Destroying it reveals a Key item. Pick up the Key, then turn around and head back out of the room. The door directly behind you (opposite the one you came in through) has a lock on it. Use the Key to open it. Inside is the second WayneTech Cache. Grab it before heading back into the main mission.
Cat Head 2 Location

As you continue forward, you will eventually reach a large open room filled with enemies and a central elevator. Clear the enemies first. Once the area is safe, look at the central statue standing in the middle of the room. The second Cat Head is resting in the statue’s hand. Destroy it to collect it.
Cat Head 3 Location

After using or interacting with the elevator, climb the stairs to the right once you reach the next floor. Go all the way to the top of the staircase and then turn around and face back the way you came. You will spot a circular vent opening in the wall at this level. The third Cat Head is tucked inside that vent tunnel. Destroy it to collect it.
WayneTech Cache 3 Location

Shortly after, you will enter a large room where enemies ambush you. Fight your way through the whole encounter and clear every enemy before looking for this Cache. Once the room is clear, head to the right side of the room and smash the box you find there. Destroying the box reveals a hidden vent entrance.
Enter the vent. Inside, you will hit a section with a smaller vent that only a cat can fit through. Switch to Catwoman and use her Call Kitty ability to send the cat through the smaller vent. The cat needs to press a button on the other side to open a shutter door. Once the shutter is open, head back to the main area and enter through the now-open door. Inside, push the cart forward and the third WayneTech Cache will be revealed.
WayneTech Cache 4 Location

Keep moving through the mission until you reach a point where the path forward is blocked by closed shutters. Look to the left and you will see a Pets Store. Use Catwoman’s Whip on the shutters of the Pets Store to pull them open. Head inside. Once you are in, switch to Batman and use his Batclaw to grapple and pull down the WayneTech Cache hanging in the store. Collect it before leaving.
Red Brick (Feline) Location

Directly opposite the Pets Store is the Gadgets Store. This is where the Feline Red Brick is hiding, but getting it requires solving a small arcade-style puzzle. Look for the wire near the red arrows on the floor and plug it into the TV on the wall to activate the screen.
Once the game starts, you are controlling a green kitty starting from the top-left corner of the screen. Your goal is to guide the green kitty to the red square in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The obstacle is an orange dog that moves only up and down. Jump on the arrow tiles on the floor to steer the kitty in the right direction. Time your moves around the dog’s path.
Once the green kitty reaches the red square and completes the game, the Feline Red Brick will spawn in the room. Pick it up. This Red Brick unlocks a white colour palette that can be applied to suits and outfits for all playable characters.
Cat Head 4 Location

Continue through the mission until you enter the large main department store floor — the biggest combat room in the mission, filled with regular enemies and larger giant enemies. Fight through everyone and clear the whole room. Once it is safe, look toward the back-right corner for a sign reading Sports Goods. The fourth Cat Head is hanging from the ceiling near that Sports Goods sign. You can shoot it down with your Batarang or Birdarang to collect it.
WayneTech Cache 5 Location

After the big combat encounter, look for a room to the left of the main floor. This is the Toys section, and it contains a piano on the floor. Walk up to the red button in front of the piano and stand on it. This triggers a tune that plays out on the piano keys in front of you — watch and listen carefully.
You need to jump on the piano keys in the same order the game shows you. The fixed solution for the piano puzzle is: 3 – 4 – 5 – 8 – 7 (counting from left to right). Jump on each key in that order. Once you play the correct sequence, a curtain behind the piano will open and reveal the fifth WayneTech Cache. Collect it to complete the Cache set for this mission.
Cat Head 5 Location

The final Cat Head is close to the exit of the mission. When you reach the Sale Goods area and are approaching the way forward, turn around and look up. The fifth Cat Head is mounted directly above the Shrecks sign behind you. It is easy to miss because it blends into the signage. Destroy it to complete the full set of 5 Cat Heads.
What Do You Get for All Mimes Collectibles?
Collecting everything in the Mimes mission gives you three rewards.
- Cat Heads Batcave Trophy – Collect all 5 Cat Heads to unlock this decorative model for display in the Batcave. Each Cat Head also counts toward the total of 170 Batcave Trophy collectibles in the full game.
- Feline Red Brick – Completing the arcade game in the Gadgets Store gives you this Red Brick, which unlocks a white colour palette for all character suits and vehicles.
- WayneTech Ability Points – Each of the 5 WayneTech Caches you collect grants ability points that can be used to upgrade your characters through the skill tree system. These are worth grabbing in every mission since stronger abilities make later chapters considerably easier.

Tips for the Mimes Mission
- Do not talk to Flass or progress story triggers too quickly. Some areas only open after certain cutscenes or interactions, so explore each room fully before moving the story forward.
- Use Catwoman constantly. Her Whip and Call Kitty are needed for three out of five WayneTech Caches in this mission. She is your primary tool throughout the whole level.
- Clear enemies before hunting collectibles. Several Cat Heads and Caches are hidden near enemy groups. Clearing the room first gives you time to explore safely.
- The piano sequence is fixed. You do not need to memorise the tune on your first attempt. The answer is always 3-4-5-8-7 from left to right. Jump straight to it if you want to save time.
- Look up regularly. Cat Heads 3, 4, and 5 are all elevated — in a vent opening, near a ceiling sign, and above a wall sign. Keeping your camera angled upward will stop you from walking past them.

Wrapping Up With The Note
The Mimes mission is one of the most fun collectible hunts in Chapter 2. The cat-themed arcade game for the Red Brick is a clever puzzle, the piano sequence in the Toys section is genuinely enjoyable, and the Cat Heads are spread out in ways that reward exploration rather than just smashing everything in sight.
With this guide you should be able to clear all 11 collectibles in a single run. Grab the Feline Red Brick first while the path is open, nail the piano sequence with the 3-4-5-8-7 solution, and keep your camera looking up for the elevated Cat Heads. Clean run sorted.
