Every New LEGO Set Released on March 1, 2026 — Zelda, Batman, Star Wars SMART Play & More

LEGO's March 2026 wave drops 25 new sets across 12 themes — including the Zelda Ocarina of Time finale, three Batmobiles, McLaren F1 Technic, and the debut of LEGO Star Wars SMART Play. Full list inside.

TL;DR: LEGO’s second 2026 wave launched March 1 with 25 direct-to-consumer sets spanning 12 themes — highlights include the Zelda Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle ($129.99), three Batmobiles celebrating 20 years of LEGO Batman, the McLaren MCL39 F1 Technic model ($229.99), two new Botanicals bouquets, and five Star Wars SMART Play sets marking the debut of LEGO’s new interactive brick system. Several sets were delayed: Winnie the Pooh and Piglet’s Birthday Fun shifted to March 19, while the Claude Monet Art set moved to March 4. Most sets are capped at three per customer to deter scalpers.

The Headliners: What’s Worth Your Attention

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093) — $129.99

Zelda fans can remember their franchise celebrated a major anniversary in February, and LEGO is honoring it with the second-ever Legend of Zelda set — a replica of the climactic boss fight against Ganondorf and his monstrous form as Ganon in the ruins of Hyrule Castle Town. The 1,003-piece build is rated 18+ and includes a brand-new Princess Zelda minifigure alongside Link, making it a must-own for fans of the Nintendo classic.

LEGO Star Wars SMART Play Debut

LEGO is celebrating the premiere of the SMART Play System with the release of the March wave, launching the very first sets with SMART Brick — the LEGO Star Wars SMART Play All-in-1 Sets. Five Star Wars sets in the wave support the new system via SMART Tags and smart minifigures, though only three of the eight sets releasing in this wave actually come with the smart brick that reacts to them — Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, the X-Wing, and the Throne Room Duel — unlocking a plethora of light- and sound-based interactivity. The SMART Play rollout is limited to six countries at launch: the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland, and Australia.

LEGO Batman’s 20th Anniversary Wave

The year 2026 marks 20 years for LEGO’s Batman line, and the brand is kicking off celebrations with a trio of new Batmobiles from across Batman’s movie history, from Batman & Robin up to The Batman. All three are priced at $29.99 — an accessible entry point for DC fans of any age.

McLaren MCL39 F1 Technic (42228) — $229.99

Four new LEGO Technic sets are hitting shelves for March, with a little something for everyone regardless of budget — from the pocket-money 42225 Yellow Motorcycle to the latest Technic F1 car in 42228 McLaren MCL39. At 1,675 pieces and rated 18+, the McLaren is the most expensive set in the wave and the most piece-dense Technic offering of the bunch.

Botanicals: Sunflower Bouquet & Magnolia Branches

Both 11502 Sunflower Bouquet and 11510 Magnolia Branches represent bouquets of colorful plants to decorate your home, though both will need an additional vase to display. Both are rated 18+ and priced at $49.99–$59.99.

Monsters, Inc. BrickHeadz (40861) — $24.99

LEGO BrickHeadz has gained a trio of new releases, including the LEGO debut of Monsters, Inc., recreating the film’s signature trio of Sulley, Mike, and Boo. At 303 pieces and $24.99, it’s one of the stronger value propositions in the wave for Disney fans.

Delayed Sets: What Got Pushed Back

Not every set made the March 1 cut. Three sets originally scheduled for today have been delayed: the $149.99, 1,399-piece 43300 Winnie the Pooh set and the companion 43305 Piglet’s Birthday Fun have both been pushed to March 19. The LEGO Art Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies (31220) shifted to a March 4 release. No reason has been given publicly for the delays.

Purchase Limits: Anti-Scalper Policies Apply

Orders on all March 1 sets are limited to three per customer — a standard LEGO policy designed to prevent bulk purchasing for resale. One exception applies: the 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel is limited to just two units per customer.

More Coming Later in March

This is only the first wave of LEGO’s March 2026 releases. Among the 43 total builds arriving this month, there’s a nice mix that can scratch most builders’ itch — with more sets arriving at both LEGO.com and retail stores throughout the rest of the month, including the delayed Disney sets and additional mass retail exclusives.
