Marvel Rivals Leak Teases 25 New Skins in Upcoming Season 3.5 Drop

A new leak for Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 reveals 25 potential character skins, including comic-inspired designs, recolors, and rumored swimsuit variants. Here’s what players can expect.

Marvel Rivals Leak Hints at Cosmetic Overhaul in Season 3.5

Just weeks after the fiery showdown between Phoenix and Knull ignited Marvel Rivals Season 3, fresh intel is already shaking up expectations for what’s next.

A new leak has surfaced, teasing an impressive lineup of unreleased skins that could hit the game in Season 3.5.

If the leak holds true, NetEase is preparing to serve up one of the most skin-rich updates to date — and fans are already buzzing.

25 Potential Skins Teased, From Swimsuits to Symbiotes

The leak, posted by Twitter user X0X_LEAK, outlines 25 character skins allegedly in development or queued for release.

While not officially confirmed, the list includes several major Marvel icons who may receive dual outfits in the upcoming patch.

The Punisher, for example, is rumored to get a comic-inspired skin and a recolor of his default look — with whispers pointing toward a swimsuit variant as well.

Similarly, Human Torch may be getting the sun-soaked treatment with two comic-based cosmetics, one of which could be beach-ready.

Spider-Man and the Invisible Woman are also rumored to receive a recolor alongside comic-accurate designs, signaling NetEase’s continued push to blend source material with fresh interpretations.

Skins That Add More Than Style

It’s not just about flashy fits. The success of cosmetics like Jean Grey’s Legendary Chaos Phoenix — with its ornate phoenix-themed detailing and vibrant purple plumage — has shown that players crave high-concept designs that tie into lore.

Marvel Rivals’ strategy seems to align closely with what Riot Games has done for League of Legends: skins that serve as love letters to the characters’ backstories or bold reinterpretations that still honor the source.

Season 3.5 could follow suit, with characters like Mr. Fantastic, Iron Fist, Ultron, and Hawkeye getting new looks, some based on unspecified comic arcs.

Meanwhile, Mantis, Magneto, Captain America, Luna Snow, and Star-Lord are in line for recolors, possibly hinting at a more budget-friendly tier of cosmetics for those watching their in-game currency.

Confirmed Skins Give Credence to the Leak

It’s worth noting that the leak includes skins that are already officially confirmed, lending it a degree of credibility.

The Polarity skins for Blade, Winter Soldier, and Cloak and Dagger are part of the upcoming roadmap.

Meanwhile, Iron Man’s Extrembiote Armor is a hybrid of Venom symbiote and tech, straight from the comics, and The Thing’s venomized skin will be available as a free cosmetic — a smart move to keep casual players engaged.

Also of note: Scarlet Witch will join Jean Grey with her own Chaos Phoenix variant, and Peni Parker will suit up in the Wasteland Mech, a rugged skin that gives her mech a vibe straight out of a Transformers desert chase scene.

Commentary: What This Means for Players

The sheer volume and variety of skins hint at a few things:

  1. NetEase is leaning into cosmetics as a core pillar of engagement. With no sign of slowing down, Marvel Rivals appears to be embracing the “live-service + skins = retention” model used by titles like Fortnite and Overwatch.
  2. Comic-inspired skins will likely become a staple, adding value for Marvel fans who want to see deep cuts from decades of lore make it to the battlefield.
  3. Swimsuit skins — while cheeky — are strategic. They appeal to the community’s appetite for playful, non-canon content, and generate hype in a way that’s hard to ignore on social platforms.

For players, this leak signals a great time to grind currency, plan purchases, or just anticipate who might be strutting their stuff in the next update. While not every skin may be confirmed, the trend is clear: Marvel Rivals is dressing for success.

Keep an eye on official patch notes and social media channels, as NetEase often drops teasers shortly before skin debuts. If even half of this leak proves legit, Season 3.5 is shaping up to be a full-on fashion show — Marvel style.
