Launch Day Game Pass Availability

Unlike the previous versions, Ninja Gaiden 4 will be developed and published by American company Xbox Game Studios, meaning it will not be under any borders when it is released on Game Pass as it will have no region lock. Because it will be a first party title, it’s guaranteed to be released on Microsoft Game Pass on its launch day.

Game Pass is a subscription-based platform by Microsoft that offers a plethora of games for a single monthly fee.

Adding Ninja Gaiden 4 to Game Pass allows gamers to forgo the usual price tag of $70, making it more accessible to a larger fan base. Better yet, players get to save some money too.

A Big Boost for the Franchise

It’s a great idea having the game on Game Pass. Die-hard fans and casual new players alike will have the opportunity to experience the game without breaking the bank. Not to mention, Microsoft revitalizes interest in the franchise by porting old titles as well.

Simultaneously when Ninja Gaiden 4 was revealed, Microsoft also announced the remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which was released in 2008, and is now also on Game Pass. Further, the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection which consists of the first three games remastered is available too. This allows fans to appreciate the legacy of the franchise before playing the newest installment.
