OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome Removed from Steam After Private Division Sale

Indie games OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome are no longer available on Steam following the sale of Private Division by Take-Two. There is no word on if or when they will return.

Popular indie games OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome have been removed from Steam.

These stylish skating games from developer Roll7, both highly rated by players, are no longer available to buy.

This change happened after Take-Two sold its indie publishing label, Private Division, in November 2024.

OlliOlli World, the third game in the side-scrolling skateboarding series, first launched in 2013 as an alternative to bigger titles like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Skate. Rollerdrome, released in 2022, mixes roller skating with fast-paced shooting action and a powerful soundtrack.

Take-Two shut down Roll7 in November 2024. Now, both games are marked as “no longer available on the Steam store.” It’s unclear if or when they will return.

While they were previously published under Private Division, they now appear under the 2K name on Steam, suggesting they were not part of the Private Division sale.

In January, journalist Jason Schreier reported that private equity firm Haveli Investments bought Private Division.

He also noted that former staff from Annapurna Interactive, who left the company in September 2024, are working on distributing some of Private Division’s old games.

For now, other titles like Kerbal Space Program and Tales of the Shire still carry the Private Division label, but OlliOlli World and Rollerdrome do not. Former Roll7 employee Anisa Sanusi previously said, “None of us work at the company that owns this [Rollerdrome] anymore.”

There’s no official word on what will happen next, but fans of these games are left wondering if they will return.
