Find all 5 Golden Ridge mural locations in The Outer Worlds 2. Our complete guide shows where to find every Tramicular Station mural piece, unlock the Art Enthusiast perk, and earn your Incognito ship trophy.
If you’re exploring Golden Ridge in The Outer Worlds 2, you’ve probably stumbled across one of the mysterious mural pieces scattered throughout the region’s abandoned Tramicular Stations. These aren’t just collectibles—they’re part of “The Pursuit of the Partite Pentaptych,” one of the game’s most rewarding collection quests that grants you a permanent XP boost and a cool ship decoration.
Unlike other collection quests in The Outer Worlds 2, this one doesn’t have a quest-giver waiting to point you in the right direction. You simply find your first mural piece, and the quest activates automatically. It’s refreshingly organic, though it can leave you wondering where the rest are hiding.
Let me walk you through exactly where to find all five Golden Ridge murals, what rewards you’ll earn, and why this quest is absolutely worth completing—especially if you’re running a companion-focused build.

Starting this quest is dead simple: just find any of the five mural pieces scattered across Golden Ridge’s Tramicular Stations. There’s no NPC to talk to, no mission board to check—the moment you interact with your first mural fragment, the collection quest begins tracking your progress.
This is technically tied to the Order of the Ascendant faction, though you don’t need any special relationship with them to complete it. Once you’ve collected all five pieces, the quest completes automatically without needing to turn it in anywhere.
Pro tip: If you’re just starting out in The Outer Worlds 2, I’d recommend grabbing these murals as you naturally explore Golden Ridge rather than making a dedicated farming run. They’re located near major landmarks you’ll visit anyway during the main story.
Here’s where you’ll find each of the five Tramicular Station murals in Golden Ridge. I’ve organized them in a logical exploration order, though you can tackle them in any sequence:

Where to find it: Head to the west side of the Alexandra Tram Station, located below the Landing Pad area on Golden Ridge. This is likely the first mural most players discover since it’s near where you initially land in the region.
The station is partially ruined but easy to spot. Look for the characteristic Tramicular signage—it’s hard to miss once you know what you’re looking for.

Where to find it: Enter the Guardian Estates proper (the main building), then immediately turn left. You’ll see a Tramicular Station sign pointing you toward the mural location.
This one’s tucked away inside the estate grounds, so make sure you’ve gained access to the area first. If you’re following the main questline, you’ll naturally pass through here.

Where to find it: This mural is located in a separate building to the west of the main Decommissioned Autonomous Extractorium facility—not inside the extractorium itself.
This is the one that trips up most players. Don’t waste time searching the main facility; instead, look for the standalone structure nearby with Tramicular Station markings.

Where to find it: Enter the N-Ray Range area and look for a building on your right side. The ruined Tramicular Station containing the fourth mural is inside.
The N-Ray Range is hard to miss if you’re completing side content in Golden Ridge, and this mural is conveniently placed along the main path through the area.

Where to find it: This final mural requires you to gain entry into the Alexandra Monastery first. Once inside, navigate to the Orrery—this is just before you encounter the Order Initiate Scavenger Hunt puzzle room. From the Orrery, head south to find the Tramicular Station.
This is typically the last mural players find since it’s locked behind story progression. If you’re stuck on the monastery puzzles, check out our dedicated puzzle guides for help.
So what do you actually get for tracking down all five murals? Quite a bit, actually:
This unique perk unlocks automatically when you collect your first mural and levels up with each additional piece you find. Here’s the progression:
The bonus applies whenever your companion lands the killing blow on an enemy. While 10% might not sound massive, it adds up significantly over a full playthrough—especially if you’re running a companion-focused build or trying to hit the max level cap.
Important note: This perk doesn’t appear in your regular perk menu during level-ups. It’s exclusively tied to this collection quest and levels automatically as you progress.
Your second reward is purely cosmetic but genuinely cool: all five mural pieces get displayed as a completed artwork aboard your ship, the Incognito.
Where to find it: Fast travel to your ship (or walk aboard if you’re nearby), then look above the staircase to your right as you enter the main room. The completed pentaptych hangs there in all its glory.
You can inspect each individual tablet to read its lore from anywhere in the room—you don’t need to be standing directly beneath it. The balcony opposite the staircase offers the best viewing angle.
It’s a nice touch that makes your ship feel more personalized, especially compared to the first Outer Worlds game where ship customization was limited.

Completing this collection quest also unlocks:
Here are some strategies to make your mural hunting easier:
• Mark locations on your map: As you explore Golden Ridge, mark any Tramicular Stations you spot but can’t access yet. This saves backtracking time later.
• Combine with other collectibles: Golden Ridge has multiple collection quests. Pair your mural hunting with finding Science Magazines or grabbing Advanced Decryption Keys from lockboxes.
• Don’t rush the monastery mural: Since the fifth mural is locked behind story progression, focus on collecting the first four as you naturally explore, then grab the final piece when the story takes you to Alexandra Monastery.
• Prioritize companion builds: If you’re planning a companion-focused character build, grab these murals early. The XP bonus helps your companions level up faster, making them more effective in combat.
Honestly? The Art Enthusiast perk alone makes this collection quest worthwhile. A permanent 10% XP boost for companion kills might seem niche, but companions in The Outer Worlds 2 are surprisingly powerful—especially with the right perks and equipment.
The ship decoration is a nice bonus that adds personality to your Incognito, and the achievement/trophy provides completion satisfaction for collectors. Plus, the murals themselves contain interesting lore about Golden Ridge’s history and the Order of the Ascendant that enriches the world-building.
Compared to other region collection quests like recalibrating Lightning Towers on Praetor or finding Excogitation Logs on Cloister, the Golden Ridge murals offer the most practical gameplay benefit through that XP multiplier.

No, it’s optional, but it counts toward achievement/trophy completion and provides permanent benefits.
No. All five murals remain accessible throughout the entire game, even after completing the main story.
Yes! It stacks multiplicatively with other XP-boosting perks and traits you selected during character creation.
Nothing—the quest progresses regardless of collection order. The perk levels up sequentially based on your total count.
The Pursuit of the Partite Pentaptych is one of the more rewarding collection quests in The Outer Worlds 2 thanks to its practical XP bonus and satisfying ship decoration. While it requires some exploration across Golden Ridge, none of the murals are particularly difficult to reach once you know where to look.
If you’re working through Golden Ridge and making important story decisions, keep an eye out for those distinctive Tramicular Station signs. Your companions—and your XP bar—will thank you.
