If you’ve been in PoE 2’s trade chat, you’ve probably seen players offering stacks of Exalted Orbs for White Stellar Amulets. If you’re wondering why this basic-looking item is worth so much, here’s everything you need to know.
At first glance, Stellar Amulets don’t look that special. They have just one built-in stat:
➡️ “+# to All Attributes”
But here’s where things get interesting:
White Stellar Amulets (a.k.a. the Normal ones) can be turned into Astramentis, one of the most valuable Unique Amulets in the game, by using an Orb of Chance on them.

Astramentis gives +80-120 to All Attributes, making it insane for attribute-stacking builds. This is especially good for:
✅ Hand of Wisdom and Action builds – These get more attack speed & lightning damage based on Intelligence & Dexterity.
✅ Furtive Wraps users – Another rare item that scales power based on stats.
Only White Stellar Amulets can turn into Astramentis!
Magic (Blue) and Rare (Yellow) versions won’t work.
That’s why White ones are worth way more.
Since turning a Stellar Amulet into Astramentis is pure RNG, the big question is:
Do you sell it for guaranteed Exalted Orbs?
Or risk it and try for Astramentis yourself?
If you use an Orb of Chance on a White Stellar Amulet, here’s what can happen:
✅ It upgrades into a Unique Amulet:
❌ It fails & destroys the amulet entirely.
Since the chances of getting Astramentis are super low, most players sell White Stellar Amulets for a guaranteed profit rather than gambling.
The price changes based on the market, but typically:
10-30 Exalted Orbs per White Stellar Amulet
If you’re broke and need currency, selling is the safe play. If you’re feeling lucky and want to gamble, go for it! Just know the odds are NOT in your favor.

1️⃣ Put the White Stellar Amulet in your inventory.
2️⃣ Right-click an Orb of Chance.
3️⃣ Left-click the Stellar Amulet to try your luck.
4️⃣ Cross your fingers.
If it works, you hit the jackpot with Astramentis. If not, you probably just lost your amulet.
Best move if you want currency: Sell it. 10-30 Exalted Orbs is a solid payday.
Feeling risky? Try to get Astramentis, but expect to lose the amulet most of the time.
Big win scenario: You turn 1 White Stellar Amulet into a super-valuable Astramentis and flex in trade chat.
At the end of the day, it’s all about your playstyle. Play it safe and cash out, or roll the dice and hope for greatness.
Whatever you do—don’t waste these amulets!
