Trainers, get ready—Porygon2 is going digital in a big way!
To celebrate the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet dropped a surprise pair of events starring none other than Porygon2, the Virtual Pokémon.
For the next two weeks, you’ll find Porygon2 popping up all over Paldea, Kitakami, and the Terarium in Mass Outbreaks, and if you’re up for a challenge, there’s also a Seven-Star Tera Raid that’s definitely not for the faint of heart.

- Start Date: June 4, 2025 (alongside the Switch 2 release!)
- End Date: Sunday, June 15 at 7:59 PM ET
- What’s Happening?
- Mass Outbreaks: Tons of Porygon2 spawning with boosted Shiny odds.
- Seven-Star Raid: Porygon2 the Unrivaled appears with a Normal Tera Type, plus it drops the Mightiest Mark when defeated.

⚡ Raid Boss Rundown – Porygon2 the Unrivaled
Porygon2 might not look terrifying, but don’t underestimate this quirky tank. Here’s what you’re up against:
- Tera Type: Normal
- Ability: Analytic – boosts move power if it goes last (uh-oh).
- Moveset:
- Tri Attack
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Discharge
- Psychic
- Trick Room
- Tri Attack
While it usually pairs well with an Eviolite, this version doesn’t hold an item. Still, its bulk is no joke—especially with Trick Room on deck. Best bet? Bring strong Fighting-types like Zamazenta or Iron Hands, or something like Blissey if you’re playing support.
