Rematch Closed Beta: How to Play Sloclap’s 5v5 Soccer Brawler Early

Rematch, the 5v5 third-person soccer game from the devs of Sifu, drops in June—but you can play early in May’s closed beta. Here’s how to sign up and what to expect.

Play Rematch Early in May’s Closed Beta

Rematch, the stylish 5v5 third-person soccer game from Sifu devs Sloclap, officially launches on June 19—but if you’re itching to dive in early, you’re in luck. The next closed beta kicks off in May, and here’s everything you need to know to get in.

Think of Rematch like Rocket League, but instead of cars, you’re controlling your player directly in third-person. It’s fast, chaotic, and all about teamwork—with no overhead camera in sight.

🗓️ When is the Rematch Beta?

The Rematch closed beta runs from Wednesday, May 28 to Friday, May 30.

While we don’t have the exact start time yet, the previous beta began at:

  • 8 AM PT
  • 11 AM ET
  • 4 PM BST

It’s also worth noting that the last test was extended—so fingers crossed for extra playtime again!

🕹️ Platforms & Crossplay

The upcoming closed beta is playable on:

  • Xbox Series X|S

The first beta was PC-only, but this round includes all three platforms. As for crossplay, it’s still up in the air. In a recent Discord update, a dev known as nobugz said:

“We’re doing our best efforts to have cross-platform Day 1, but I can’t confirm it yet unfortunately. If we don’t manage it at launch, it will be made available in an update very soon after – as soon as possible actually.”

So, even if it’s not there at beta or launch, it sounds like crossplay is definitely coming.
