If you downloaded or played this free pirate survival game, you might want to check your PC ASAP. Here’s what’s going on! 👇
🏴☠️ What Was PirateFi?
PirateFi launched on February 6 and was marketed as a thrilling pirate survival game 🌊🏝️ where you could:
✅ Play solo or with friends 🤝
✅ Fish, hunt, farm, & build bases 🎣🔨
✅ Craft weapons & battle rival gangs ⚔️
Sounds fun, right? Well… not for long. Just four days later, on February 10, Valve removed it from Steam 🚮 after detecting potentially malicious files in an update. 😳

✅ Check your system for suspicious software or files ⚠️
