Mysticism is one of the coolest and most varied schools of magic in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, but finding places to actually buy Mysticism spells can be a little tricky.
They’re not as common as Restoration or Destruction spells, but if you know where to lookโand have enough goldโyou can load up on some seriously useful magic.
Mysticism deals with manipulating magical forces, letting you dispel, absorb, or reflect spells, as well as control your surroundings with Telekinesis or Detect Life. Most high-level Mysticism spells are just beefed-up versions of the basic ones you can get early on, but they’re super powerful when you need them.
- Telekinesis can open up some creative quest solutions without having to fight or sneak around.
- Spell Absorption and Spell Reflection are absolutely clutch against tough mage enemies.
- And Soul Trap? Even if you’re not a full-time mage, youโre going to want charged Soul Gems for repairing or recharging enchanted weapons, making it useful for basically everyone.
Mysticism might not get all the flashy attention that Destruction or Conjuration magic does, but it’s one of the most versatile schools once you get your hands on the right spells.
