Get hyped, Marvel fans—Marvel Rivals is leveling up in a huge way! NetEase Games just gave players their first look at the ferocious new Weapon X skin for Wolverine, and it’s dropping into the in-game store on June 5 at 7 PM PDT.

The Duelist himself, Logan, is looking downright savage. In the new gameplay footage shared on Twitter, Wolverine is decked out in full Weapon X glory—complete with a metal headset, his signature long hair flowing out, grungy yellow pants, and machinery all over his body. Oh, and his claws? Literal fire. They’re glowing orange-red and leave blazing trails with every swing. This isn’t just a new skin—it’s a whole vibe.

According to Marvel content creator Miller Ross, the Weapon X Bundle will cost 1,600 Units and includes the skin, a nameplate, a spray, an MVP animation, and an emote. So if you’re all about showing off that wild side of Wolverine, this bundle’s a must.

But wait—Logan’s not the only one getting a wardrobe upgrade. Jeff the Land Shark, the adorable (and surprisingly strategic) fishy fighter, is also getting a Sunshine Land Shark skin! It puts Jeff in full-on beach mode, complete with vacation clothes and a floral lei. This sunny new look is part of a growing “Sunshine” collection that also features Squirrel Girl and Rocket Raccoon in similarly summery gear. Yes, it’s as fun as it sounds.

And there’s more—so much more. The June 5 update also brings a brand-new game mode to Marvel Rivals called Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol

This one’s for the tacticians out there. Instead of chaotic real-time brawling, this mode introduces grid-based combat where players build teams, place modules, and outthink their opponents.

Strategy, precision, and planning take center stage, offering a totally different flavor of gameplay that fans haven’t seen before.

With killer skins, fresh game modes, and a growing roster (hey there, Ultron from Season 2.5!), Marvel Rivals is shaping up to be a powerhouse. And judging by all the hype, players are seriously pumped for what’s next.
