WoW Players Can Now Earn Heroic Nerub’ar Palace Gear Through Plunderstorm
Blizzard’s Plunderstorm battle royale is now offering Heroic Nerub’ar Palace gear as a reward for earning 5000 Plunder. Here’s how to claim yours before the event ends.
Blizzard’s Plunderstorm, a World of Warcraft battle royale event, has been a hit with players, thanks to its unique gameplay and exclusive rewards. While most rewards so far have been cosmetic items, Blizzard has now made a major change—players can earn Heroic Nerub’ar Palace gear simply by playing the event.
How to Earn Heroic Nerub’ar Palace Gear
In a post on the official WoW forums, community manager Kaivax confirmed that players who accumulate 5000 Plunder will receive a message in their in-game mail containing Heroic Nerub’ar Palace loot.
📢 “Since the Plunderstorm returned to Azeroth, Cap’n Keg Leg has been holding back a fine reward. As of about 10:00 a.m. PST today (January 31), this is now fixed. Players who have accumulated 5,000 Plunder, or players who hereafter earn 5,000 Plunder should check their in-game mail for a message from Keg Leg containing loot.”

Good News: The Reward is Retroactive
If you’ve already earned 5000 Plunder, you should be able to claim your gear right away. If you’re still working toward it, the requirement isn’t too difficult to reach—Plunder is earned simply by playing Plunderstorm, with bonuses for winning and performing well.
Plunderstorm is only scheduled to run until February 18, so players who haven’t yet earned their 5000 Plunder should start soon. Alongside this new reward, there are still plenty of mounts, armor appearances, and other cosmetics available to unlock.
If you’re looking for an easy way to gear up in World of Warcraft, now’s the perfect time to jump into Plunderstorm and start collecting rewards.
