Complete A Bad Feeling quest in ARC Raiders with this guide. Learn where to find ARC Courier and ARC Probe locations, plus tips for looting them safely
One of the cooler features in ARC Raiders is the random supply drop system. ARC Couriers and ARC Probes can spawn across the map—or even land right next to you mid-raid—offering valuable loot without forcing you to venture into the most dangerous zones. It’s a nice quality-of-life feature that can really save your skin when you’re low on supplies.
The A Bad Feeling quest introduces you to this mechanic by tasking you with finding and looting one of these machines. It sounds straightforward, but since spawns are randomized, knowing where to look (and what to watch for) can make all the difference. Let’s break down everything you need to complete this quest efficiently.
A Bad Feeling is a quest given by Celeste after you finish the Off The Radar quest in ARC Raiders. The objective is simple: find and search either an ARC Probe or an ARC Courier.
Since you only need to loot one of these machines, it’s not a particularly difficult quest—but it does require some map awareness and a bit of luck. The good news? There are ways to improve your odds.

Once you complete A Bad Feeling, you’ll receive:
These crafting materials are useful for base upgrades and gear repairs, so it’s worth knocking this quest out early. If you’re working on other upgrades, check out our storage expansion guide to make sure you have room for all your loot.
Before we dive into locations, let’s clarify what you’re actually looking for.

ARC Couriers are broken machines that you can breach and loot. They spawn randomly across the map, but there are a few semi-reliable locations where they appear—specifically on top of ARC Barons, which are massive, ancient, dead machines.
ARC Probes, on the other hand, are rocket-like machines that literally fall from the sky. They’re more common than Couriers and can drop near you unexpectedly, making them easier to stumble upon during a normal raid.
Both contain valuable loot, so even after completing the quest, they’re worth seeking out whenever you spot one.

ARC Couriers are randomly generated when you load into a raid, so there’s no guaranteed spawn location every single time. However, they’re not completely unpredictable—there are certain areas where they appear more frequently.
If you’re actively hunting for an ARC Courier, your best bet is the Dam Battlegrounds map, specifically the western side. Here’s why:
What to look for:
Important warning: These ARC Barons might be ancient and dead, but they’re not completely harmless. Once you attempt to loot the Courier on top, the Baron will shoot fire at you. So don’t just rush in blindly—clear the area first, watch your positioning, and be ready to dodge.
Once you’ve located a Baron with a Courier on top:

ARC Probes are much more common than Couriers, and they’re honestly easier to spot if you know what to look for. These rocket-like machines fall from the sky and land randomly across the map—sometimes right next to you.
How to identify an ARC Probe:
If you see an ARC Probe falling, drop what you’re doing and head toward it. Other players might have the same idea, so speed matters. The loot inside is usually worth the sprint, and since looting it completes the A Bad Feeling quest, it’s a win-win.
Even if you don’t witness the drop, ARC Probes can spawn on the ground during your raid. They’re scattered randomly, so keep your eyes peeled as you move through different areas. They’re easier to spot than Couriers since they stick out visually.
Since both ARC Couriers and Probes spawn randomly, the best approach is to keep an eye out during your normal raids rather than dedicating an entire run just to find one. You’ll likely stumble across one naturally while completing other objectives like farming coins or gathering resources.
If you really want to knock this quest out fast, focus your raids on the Dam Battlegrounds map and check the western side for Barons with Couriers. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s your best shot at a semi-reliable spawn.
The sound design in ARC Raiders is solid, so listen for the distinct sound of an ARC Probe descending. If you hear it, pause what you’re doing and locate the landing zone. Audio cues can give you a crucial head start over other players.
Looting an ARC Courier on top of a Baron can get dicey, especially if enemies are nearby. Consider playing with friends so one person can cover you while you climb and loot. Teamwork makes these kinds of objectives way smoother.
Whether you’re looting a Courier or rushing to a Probe, make sure your shield is recharged and your health is topped off. The last thing you want is to get ambushed mid-loot because you were too focused on the objective.
The A Bad Feeling quest is a straightforward introduction to ARC Raiders’ supply drop system, and it’s honestly one of the more enjoyable early quests since it encourages exploration and situational awareness. Whether you track down an ARC Courier on Dam Battlegrounds or catch an ARC Probe falling from the sky, the loot is always worth it.
Once you complete the quest, you’ll walk away with useful crafting materials and a better understanding of how to capitalize on these random loot opportunities in future raids. And honestly, even after the quest is done, always make time to check out Couriers and Probes—they can turn a mediocre run into a profitable one.
