Complete Tian Wen's Market Correction quest in ARC Raiders. Find the sabotage cache at Marano Station in Buried City and earn weapon attachments including Silencer II.
Tian Wen’s Market Correction quest is one of those deceptively simple missions in ARC Raiders that sounds straightforward on paper—find a cache, sabotage it, extract. Easy, right? Well, the challenge isn’t the objective itself; it’s surviving the hostile environment of Buried City long enough to complete it.
Between aggressive ARC machines patrolling the open areas, trigger-happy enemy raiders competing for the same objectives, and the general chaos that defines Buried City, this quest requires more tactical awareness than you might expect. This guide breaks down exactly where to go, what threats to avoid, and how to extract safely with your loot intact.
Quest Giver: Tian Wen
Map: Buried City
Location: Marano Station (west side)
Difficulty: Moderate
Primary Threats: Bombardiers, Bastions, hostile raiders
Recommended Approach: Stealth and speed over direct combat

The Market Correction quest sends you to sabotage a specific cache at Marano Station. While the actual objective takes less than a minute once you reach the location, getting there and getting out alive? That’s where the real test begins.
Quest Rewards Preview:
These weapon attachments are legitimately useful for weapon upgrades, especially the Silencer II, which becomes crucial for sneaky playstyles in later-game content.
Once you’ve accepted the quest from your main menu and loaded into Buried City, your destination is Marano Station on the western side of the map, positioned near the Library landmark.
Landmark Reference: The Library is your primary navigation point. If you can spot the Library, you’re close to Marano Station.
Optimal Approach Paths:
Here’s the thing about Buried City that catches a lot of players off guard: this map has significantly higher player traffic than Dam Battlegrounds or other zones. PvP encounters are almost guaranteed, especially around high-value locations like Marano Station and the Library.
Not every raider you meet will shoot on sight, but assume they will until proven otherwise. The Market Correction quest attracts multiple players to the same small area, creating natural conflict zones.
Survival Tips for PvP Areas:
If you’re running valuable gear, consider bringing a squadmate for this quest. Solo players are prime targets in Buried City, especially near extraction points. Check out our co-op guide if you need help teaming up.
The biggest environmental hazard at Marano Station isn’t the quest objective—it’s the heavy ARC machines patrolling the area. You’ll likely encounter either:
Bombardiers – Long-range artillery units that will absolutely delete you if you’re caught in the open
Bastions – Heavily armored tanks that can soak damage and dish out devastating firepower
Critical Advice: Do NOT engage these machines unless absolutely necessary. Fighting a Bombardier or Bastion solo while trying to complete Market Correction is asking for trouble. These aren’t Wasps or Hornets you can quickly dispatch—they’re serious threats that require coordinated fire or heavy weapons.
Avoidance Tactics:
If you’re actively farming these machines, that’s a different story. But for Market Correction specifically? Speed and stealth win over combat every time.

Once you reach Marano Station, the actual quest objective is straightforward—but only if you know exactly where to look.
From your entry point at Marano Station, face east and start moving in that direction. Keep your eyes scanning for a small shop-like structure with distinctive metal containers nearby.
Visual Identification:
The cache isn’t hidden inside a building or tucked away in some obscure corner. It’s actually fairly visible once you’re in the right area, which means other raiders can spot it just as easily as you can. Stay alert.
Approach the metal containers and interact with them to investigate the cache. This is a quick action—no extended looting animation—so you can complete it relatively safely even if you hear nearby threats.
During Investigation:
After investigating, your next objective appears: sabotage the cache. Interact with the containers again to trigger the sabotage sequence.
What Happens:
The explosion itself won’t hurt you unless you’re standing directly on top of it, but the sound can attract unwanted attention. As soon as you trigger the sabotage, be ready to move toward extraction rather than lingering in the area.
Quest completion means nothing if you die before extracting. Buried City’s extraction points are notoriously contested, and you’ve likely made some noise completing Market Correction.
Metro Station Entrance (Recommended)
Location: North or south of the Library
Difficulty: Moderate
Enemy Presence: Pops (small ARC machines)
This is your safest bet for extraction from Marano Station. The metro entrance provides:
Navigating the Metro:
Pops aren’t particularly dangerous individually, but they can stun-lock you with rapid fire if you’re caught off guard. A few quick shots should dispatch them, but don’t underestimate them if you’re already low on health or shields. Keep your shield types charged before entering.
If the metro is too hot or you prefer surface extractions:

General Extraction Tips:
This depends entirely on your risk tolerance and loadout.
Extract Immediately If:
Consider Looting If:
High-Value Loot Near Marano Station:
Personally? Unless I’m specifically farming resources, I extract immediately after Market Correction. The weapon attachments you earn from Tian Wen are valuable enough that risking them for a few extra Rusted Gears isn’t worth it.

After successfully extracting and returning to Speranza, head to the quest terminal and claim your rewards from Tian Wen:
Value: High
Use Case: Stealth-focused loadouts and sneaky playstyles
The Silencer II is arguably the best reward from this quest. It significantly reduces weapon noise, making you harder to detect by both ARC machines and enemy raiders. Essential for:
Value: Moderate
Use Case: Sustained firefights and general combat
Extra ammunition capacity means fewer reloads during critical moments. Particularly useful when:
Value: Moderate
Use Case: Improved weapon handling and accuracy
Reduces recoil and improves weapon control, especially beneficial for:

Efficient Quest Chains:
Also check for these opportunities while in the area:
1. Rushing to Marano Station Without Reconnaissance
Scout the area before committing. That extra 30 seconds of observation can reveal hostile raiders or patrolling Bombardiers.
2. Fighting Every Enemy You Encounter
Not every engagement needs to happen. Sometimes the smartest play is avoiding combat entirely to preserve resources for extraction.
3. Lingering After Quest Completion
Complete the sabotage and leave. The explosion marks your location—don’t give enemies time to converge on you.
4. Ignoring Audio Cues
Sound design in ARC Raiders is excellent for a reason. Listen for footsteps, machine noises, and gunfire to stay aware of threats.
5. Extracting Without Checking Safe Pockets
If you picked up anything valuable during the quest, secure it in Safe Pockets before attempting extraction.
If you’re relatively new to ARC Raiders, Market Correction serves as a solid introduction to Buried City’s unique challenges:

Optimize Your Experience:
Market Correction exemplifies what makes ARC Raiders compelling: simple objectives wrapped in complex, dynamic challenges. The quest itself takes minutes; mastering the execution takes experience and tactical awareness.
The real lesson here isn’t just about sabotaging a cache—it’s about threat assessment, risk management, and knowing when to fight versus when to flee. Those weapon attachments Tian Wen offers are nice, but the survival skills you develop completing this quest are infinitely more valuable.
Start conservative with a free loadout to learn the route and threats. Once you’re comfortable with Marano Station’s layout and the typical enemy patterns, you can get more aggressive with looting runs and simultaneous quest completion.
Above all, remember that extraction means everything. A completed quest with no extraction equals zero rewards. Play smart, stay alert, and those Silencer II attachments will be upgrading your weapons in no time.
Now get out there and show Tian Wen you can handle a little market sabotage. Just watch out for those Bombardiers.
