Genshin Impact Might Finally Get Controller Support on Android!
Genshin Impact has been making some big improvements lately, adding quality-of-life (QoL) updates that fans have been asking for years. While the Natlan story may not have been the best, the updates from version 5.0 to 5.4 have brought some great mechanical improvements.
Sure, we still don’t have Artifact Loadouts, but at least we got:
✅ A better Artifact filter
✅ Level-up guides
✅ Material location markers
But one thing that’s been missing for a long time—controller support for Android. Playing on a touchscreen is fine, but using a controller would be way smoother. And guess what? It might finally be happening! 🎉

Genshin Impact 5.5 Might Add Controller Support for Android! 🎮
A new leak from Sparkle Graveyard (shared on Reddit) says that the Genshin Impact 5.5 beta has added controller support for Android! If this is true, players using Android 9.0 and above will be able to play with these controllers:
🎮 DualSense Wireless Controller – Works on Android 12.0+
🎮 DualShock 4 Wireless Controller – Works on Android 10.0+
🎮 Xbox Wireless Controller – Works on Android 9.0+
🎮 Xbox Elite Wireless Controller (2nd Gen) – Works on Android 9.0+
If the beta goes well, we could get controller support in Genshin Impact 5.5! This would make playing on Android feel more like playing on a console.
